Do you need to make notes on this-like e.g. in 2.3 I made notes on marxism, so like for this would I need to make notes or is this an ‘application’ section

Hi, no this is more of a technique topic. So in your exam you will get three unique short scenarios and some of your questions will ask you to apply/analyse the scenario. But as we do not know these until the exam all you can do is practice applying the topics (AC 2.1, 2.2, 2.3) to other cases/examples :)
