quoting wikipedia: King Crimson founder Robert Fripp approved of the group, stating: "The CJ3 have respectfully and irreverently taken eight Crimson classics, repositioned them in the musical spectrum, and delivered their first songbook with superb musicianship in service to wit and invention"

One of the most disturbing, violent songs of the '60s, as rendered by Mr. Rogers. I lurves it, I do!

I was completely blessed to get to see and hear the Crimson Jazz Trio perform all these songs live at a little jazz club in Los Angeles. They were every bit as amazing live as you could imagine. Thank you, you crazy geniuses! Ian Wallace was such a very cool guy too. Sheer brilliance.

Sometimes a man have to grow up. When I first heard this song in 2009 it was to strange to me. Now I am sure: it is cool!

Today we learnt that prog rock can make good jazz songs.
@edwardcumpstey90613 жыл бұрын
I mean, prog does take a lot of influence from jazz anyways.

@@edwardcumpstey9061 Yeah the original version is pretty much jazz fusion anyway. My OG comment sounds quite stupid now that I look at it.

Beyond the anarchies, Crimso denounced the apparent order and the paradoxes of an insensible world. Spiritual, sensory and rebellious, these poets for once not so cursed, reveals secret impostures, explores serene enjoyments, a world of rekindled dreams !!!

This is just toooooo frigging cool. I would never has suspected you could do this to 21st Century Schizoid Man. Love all your incredible arrangements of King Crimson music, fellas. Is Robert Fripp hip to you guys?
@ozzylescano8 жыл бұрын
Ian Wallace used to be a drummer in King Crimson. I think Fripp knows him better than anyone else!

very skilled however you managed to completely kill all the tension that made the first version so fantastic. you filled it out and softened the edges and killed it. I was hoping for some almost beatnik Spartan jazz edginess...so disappointed
