It’s good to hear that someone actually mirrors my thoughts on this since none of my other clanmates actually took this as seriously as they should, it feels extremely intrusive and sounds manipulative with the wording. As long as it is physically possible for someone to do something bad, bad people are going to do just that, and it’s stupid to expect them not to, and I say this as someone who heavily dislikes toxicity/witch-hunt crowds/etc. It’s like leaving a criminal in a vault and expecting them to not take the money, you can’t stop people from making bad choices if they choose to do so. also inb4 your clan disappears due to a “bug”

i am willing to bet that theres gonna be a drama where people argue that AO staff cant interfere in discord servers owned by others because its unfair to enforce rules outside your own game, and then the staff are going to fight back by banning owners and clan members of said discord server. its messed up and unfair what these "rules " are and whoever made them is extremely stupid.

"But Tie u cant change what people do" You know sometimes you can't let things fall out of control which ofc leads to consequences (I.e: the community will be actively viewed as toxic and thus reducing the popularity of a game as a whole). I'll explain what this loophole means in discord dms because people just simply can't understand why the rules were made in the first place.

Imo the best way of outing a toxic clan is banding other clans together and removing them by force. Having moderation of discord servers ain't feasible so it's best to challenge them in game

When you think about it, the dev team did this because they keep getting complains of being hunted nonstop. Not saying what their doing is the best course of action, but the cause is which is the toxic people are most to be blamed. (This is just my thoughts, i dont have a clan so i wouldnt know what its like to live under these rules.)

They could create an in-game police force ((far stronger than the navy, and each npc corresponds to a boss)Idk))in which players or npcs target toxic individuals for a reward, or the vetex staff could be given an extra powerful slot to solely deal with toxic individuals. They could, for example, disable teleportation on individual slots.

This is a kids game. Moderation has to be kept thorough and tight in discord servers full of children. The reason this doc was even drafted and made is because we had loser weirdos expose kids in clan discords to some "interesting" content. Nobody in a clan is going to get banned if they aren't a danger to kids or the overall health of the community. And yes, your clan activities won't get you banned, there is literally nothing to fear Speaking of fear, the fearmongering over this is insane. Your entire argument in this video are that "well, the rules CAN be bent, so I guess they're all bad then!" All your claims are built on skepticism and a general distrust in authority And also btw, these are basically rules that have already existed but weren't written on paper. It's definitely not uncommon for Vetex Staff to be in discords related to the game, even more this thing was made. It's a little creepy to how people are so opposed for them being in there. You doing something weird? Most of the time staff join a discord and never say anything besides when pinged, they don't interrupt on just about anything in a clan.
