Haha I couldn't figure out how to fit it into the flow
@benjamin._.mcalister16985 жыл бұрын
Considering you’re a beginner you’re pretty good! You’ve definitely got potential. As you grow you should use things like Rhymezone less and less. This’ll mean your lyrics will sound more natural as they’ll come straight from you, plus you’ll be able to come up with more complex rhymes and you’ll feel less boxed in. For now I’d say just get more comfortable and confident in your own lyrical ability. When I started I was exactly like you lol but now I don’t use Rhymezone at all which definitely makes it a lot more fun. If you wanna get really good when you listen to rappers that are really good look at their lyrics and see what they do and how it all fits together. Lyrics are just a jigsaw puzzle and they have as many sides as you want. Anyway that was just some throwaway advice not all of it will necessarily apply to you lol, good luck, I know you can become great

Just a thought. Instead of peppers you could have said "Life gave me fruity loops so I made lyrical lemonade" it connects the subject matter in the bar to multiple things, and makes the double entendre easier for the listener to catch onto. You still made a good bar out of what you did though. I just feel like the peppers line may go over a bunch of people's heads. (I know personally if I were listening to it the bar would have. Not inherently a bad thing, but it is something to take into consideration when writing.) Overall I think you did pretty good in the end. Keep up the good work.

I enjoyed this video a lot! Something about it bugged me yesterday when I watched it and I couldn't figure out what it was so I came back today and realize that a lot of the time you seem to be imitating the black vernacular in offensive ways. Using "run a fade" incorrectly and saying "I be *insert thing here*" are some examples. As a beginner you used the tools at your disposal very well and I hope that as you develop your skills as a songwriter/rapper you will be able to avoid following rap tropes that can be seen as offensive when done by a non-black person of color. I'm sure you understand why. Big fan and this video was 🔥🔥 as usual! Just wanted to share some of my thoughts with you Note: it can sometimes help to pick a topic before writing and go from there 🤘🏾🤘🏾
