That is how I met my Filipina of 23 years (2 years of correspondence and calls, and 21 years of marriage and still going strong) and I remember the first time we finally met at the airport at Manila as if it happened today. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything...plus, the day she arrived in the US, the day she received her citizenship and the first time she was able to vote are all etched in my memory and heart for ever.
