The reason why was the build is underrated since most of the time when a defender take the initiative to start the fight and move forward first, its team always retreat, leaving the defender fainted .....

I love this build with buddy barrier also over cookie, but when you see umbreon or tyrantiar in draft, you usually want to swap back to cookie to avoid those anti shield skills

This is one of my favorite defender builds. Snorlax may not have the fancy new things that all the other defenders have in their kits, but Snorlax helps players learn how to play basic defense and how to defend for your teammate. Immensely important mon for any person who wants to learn the defender role.
