The devs arent known for making good decisions. Buffing blastoise surf and hudro pump cooldown is just 1 of endless amounts of bad decisions they have done

@@halvsketchy9293 being the avid Blastoise user I am, I'm not really questioning the remaining moves being buffed. I don't see him being played nearly as much as he was pre-nerfs But his Unite was already *very* strong and Water Spout's needed help for ages and they still refuse to strengthen it. I could go on about them nerfing C tier Garchomp himself but the Unite buff's the decision that stood out to me

@@MonsieurDDMonsterr blastoise is my second most played pokemon, ~1000 ranked master battles on blastoise currently. Blastoise might not have been played a lot, but it was by no means bad. And buffing cooldown on it is really dangerous given how much surf and hydro pump stun (along with boost basic reducing cooldown). If they buff it, they should buff damage instead. Or maybe just buff water spout/spin and left the other moveset alone. Unite already have a CC problem and they are actively making it worse with these decisions

It makes sense why this isnt a thing, because it would make water spout spin even worse, but the biggest thing I hate about this build is that you dont gain any movement speed with this build like you do with water spout. I kinda wish some of that movement speed was tied into rapid spin itself, it'd be helpful if you could spin past an enemy with some of the speed, then push them towards your side for example.

The Twitch commenters are such followers. They were all dogging out the Owl after you said "classic" because they secured with their ult. When, after you thought about it, you realized it was the best play for them to make. Then the commenters started saying "oh that was the right move." 😂 smh

Yes they do? You hold water spout when using rapid spin and you get increased movement speed and damage. Its damage output is underwhelming I think because it’s out of meta.

Surf aoe is massive and you can displace enemies really badly. Rapid spin and pump needs attack speed investment. So I disagree, this build is sub-optimal.
