One of the voices that I definitely agree with the change was professor HoJo Or Dr. Ho Jo however you say his name sephiroth father He just sounds more menacing in a mature way, with his new voice actor other than that the other voices sound better in the original

@The Plat Dream but the original FF7 voice cast are the ones that brought their characters to life. It's like replacing them all with Chris Pratt. Imagine being ok with the celebrity endorsement and marketing purposes without caring about the mistreatment the voice casts have.

@@R0B5e55or001 are you kidding me? The og voice actors sound like crap compared to the new ones get over the nostalgia and pay attention. Everyone has a way better dynamic range and the only hard to adjust to voices are sephiroth and Zack. I grew up with these games but I don't hear Steve burton when I think of cloud now, I hear Cody who's 10x better.

@The Plat Dream maybe David Hayter don't sound good either and to easily favor Kiefer Sutherland that's 1000x better for Solid Snake than Hayter and Charles Martinet wasn't heard anymore and always think of Chris Pratt who's 1000x better applies too, but that's just me. Nothing threatening to have the original voices as an inclusion for the anticipating projects they were all meant to be in. None of the Compilation FF7 would've happened if it weren't for the super talented original FF7 voice cast. If you're no fan of them, then your loyalty for them is questionable. Want to say every entire new cast who never even heard of the projects they were asked to be part of out of randomness is better? Don't even bother sympathizing with other original voice cast in other media like Scooby-Doo, Chicken Run, Super Mario Bros, TWEWY, Mob Psycho 100 who were mistreated and to be set aside for the celebrity endorsement and marketing purposes.

I cannot express the disappointment when I first heard the trailer's VA. I am content with the new VA cast for the series in FF7R and so on but for Crisis Core which has voice acting, unlike FF7... I can't stand it. I played Crisis Core so many times as a kid that I memorized Zack's lines and hear them spoken with Rick's voice. I'm glad that Caleb is getting to experience VA but... Not in this way. It would be different if this wasn't just a remaster, I guess, but either way... I'll be playing this in Japanese then returning to my PSP version.

All because of stupid John Heinecke. If he hadn't been hired as Square Enix's CMO in the first place right around the same time the secret new voice audition for FF7R were held at the end of 2018, then the whole original FF7 voice cast would have all been part of the FF7R and Crisis Core Remastered and everything could been normal.
