Excellent lecture mA. I do think however Russell Brand has some balanced views, a lot of what he says is compassionate and encompasses our common humanity.

I agree brother. I do not follow Mr Brand as an entertainer, but from what I have seen of his serious commentary and observations on life and the world, I find him thoughtful, incisive and clearly a man of depth and heart. He was most outspoken in standing up for our Gazzan brethren during the recent conflict. I would not be suprised if one day he embraced Islam, in sha Allah. Assalamu alaikum

Perhaps Shaikh Hamza has not seen Mr. Brand's social commentary, but only his wild, extroverted side present in his films and tv shows. Allahu Alim.

A lot poison tastes sweet, satanism sounds great to many people how its been dressed up by Anthon Levi and the Church of Satan (not comparing him to Brand!) Brand is basically talking about modern day marxism. He calls profit a dirty word! IS this Islam? Sharia finance? Profit in a just economic system is essential a well as fair. The right to earn in this dunya form the work you put in is a right from Allah.
