On the artistic and design points of view, the link which I'd automatically establish with an Archaic Greek pottery would be the horror vacui. Those stripes all over the packet are just here to fill up the space!

Give that crisp packet 300 years and if its still in good condition it may just be a collectors item that somebody will treasure and might even be worth something. I can see future mudlarkers 300 years from now really wanting that crisp packet.

They both will last, to be puzzled over, by future archeologists. They have designs on them, that might not be instantly recognised. The crisp packet might well become a puzzle in 2 thousand years lol
