I met Crispin Glover two months ago. I bought a copy of one of his books and got his autograph. He’s very aware of the corruption of the industry! I thanked him for informing the audience during his performance. Very glad I got to meet George McFly!

Thank you for the time stamp!!! Yeah. The stuff he is talking about before this isn't for everyone. Especially when the title of the video draws people who only want to hear about Back to the Future. I am quite interested in what he has to say before this, however I did get bored early on.

Still love all of his George Mcfly lines... stories, science fiction stories... nothing's coming to my mind... and that George Mcfly laugh during his peanut brittle dinner... always a kick to hear again...

I used to be a journalist and I used to cover film festivals as well so I used interview film actors. I understand the whole ins and outs of publicity with actors and filmmakers . This journalist who wrote a negative article about Crispin sounded like an entitled asshole. I know all about deadlines but you have to work with people in those situations and that writer just was being difficult .

I do agree with Crispin Glover that it is weird that companies are now legally considered people and I do feel bad company forget that their soul purpose is to serve people

Wow I'd really like to read this book. I'm beginning to understand he was propagandized after the first back to the Future they made him look crazy, like a primadonna and put out false stories so people wouldn't question why he wasn't in the sequel. In doing this he didn't get cast alot of times, kindof black list. I'm sure there's much more to it but I already believed there's soooooo much lying and deception this is just one example of millions.

They originally intended MJF to be Marty, and apparently Eric was not really working out

@@LadyBloodyWrists I know that Gale and the other suits have made that claim, but I don’t believe their “Fox was the first choice, but we went with Stoltz instead” excuse. Being that studios are a business, I don’t know of any company that would go 6 weeks in the opposite direction, and then decide to recast while having the studio throw out an additional 3 million to re-shoot. I also believe that the “first choice” excuse was just a way for suits to cover their asses, and help market the movie. They have also lied about Eric, in the same way that they have lied about Crispin. The original BTTF script, was much darker than the released version. Eric was playing the role, in the way that it was originally written. BTTF was originally never a comedy, but instead a scifi drama, with some comedic parts thrown in.

@@Richard_John_Dick_Grayson this would mean that the producer of Family Ties would lie too. He has nothing to do with BTTF but letting MJF do the movie. He himself said hundreds of times that they asked him in summer 1984 to let MJF go to film the movie but he didn't want to let his star of the show go. When they got back to him around Christmas time and begged even more he finally said yes. So Goldberg's version of the story.

I don't go to films to be educated, I have academic institutions and other mediums for that. I go to films to escape. They take me to a place where I don't have to think about all the corporate crap and corruption that invades my senses every moment of every day. No wonder they dumped this guy. Get over yourself Glover.

But don't movies suck more lately? And Netflix and stuff is more interesting now? Anyway, Roman Catholics got some censorship happening pretty early on in 1940s. Pre-code hollywood movies are before they were strictly enforced and let me tell ya, there's a different vibe. They're a lot racier too than what would follow. But just feel more relatable.
