This song is quite awesome. Definitely a good example of early brostep (which is what I call dubstep with chaotic drops). Mid-range heavy, yet dark at the same time.

brostep is the melodic 'transformers-sounding' noise crap which is being pushed by the tonne by current commercial EDM 'djs'.

A track doesn't have to be mainstream or commercial to be considered brostep. It just has to have a chaotic, mid-ranged drop. This song is still a lot closer to brostep than anything Loefah or Digital Mystikz would do. Artists that fit the classification of brostep include Fonik, Excision, Tim Ismag, Rekoil, Calvertron, Helicopter Showdown, Barely Alive, Fuzion, Downlink, Getter, Droptek, xKore, etc.
