He isn’t wrong to mention it. Appointing Ole as the united manager was more of a bad decision than even appointing Rangnick as the interim (considering Rangnick had experience as a manager in Schalke and all, I remember them reaching a ucl semi final when he was the manager)Ole had nothing to suggest he will be a success. Ole got the permanent job based on what happened in paris alone. His record even in that first season after that PSG win was a disaster. Last thing Ten Hag needs is this. I love Cristiano. But he should learn that football isn't always going to rotate around him. And that interview expresses an egotistical, non-compromising Ronaldo. If you love United, you've got to love what's best for the club. And sometimes that means being benched and letting other players contribute. Stop being so selfish. For me this interview is not the nail in the coffin. Nail in the coffin is going to be Portugal, in the World Cup, struggling to score with Cristiano upfront. Honestly, I don't see what everybody is surprised about in the Ronaldo affair. I have to wholly disagree with Stevie's comment that he's had a near perfect career. Ronaldo was always a narcissist, and narcissists are toxic by definition. He managed to get his way because he delivered. He was hired to score goals and that's what he did. Players look up to him because of his work ethic, and that's fine. But let's be clear--Ronaldo was always about Ronaldo. He's always been very egotistic. That's what his whole marketing strategy is all about--him, his looks, his performances, his goals, his salary, his girlfriends. He did not leave Madrid on good terms, he did not leave Juve on good terms, and he is not going to leave ManU on good terms. Other players have a lot of respect for him because of his record and work ethics, and I suppose you could say that is a form of leadership, but there are other aspects to leadership where he has been sorely lacking, and one of them is taking responsibility for your own failures. I think he's just having a hard time accepting that his better days are over and he is no longer in the limelight. There is nothing more frustrating than that for a narcissist. And it's showing.

Incredible how the press is so quick to crucify Ronaldo without actually listening to what he’s saying. Messi has benefited from the good graces of the European press, if Ronaldo had Messi’s numbers from last season they would have pronounced his career dead! Cristiano chose united over city and what does he get for it? 2 managers that never wanted him and less playtime, certainly not what he was promised… everybody says he can’t play anymore, but he gets no minutes. I just think his personality rubs people the wrong way. I hope he bounces back and leaves United.

The problem with CR7 is that he has always been about himself....for a great player he was always a very unlikable guy...this is not a good way to end his career in his old age nearing retirement as the days go by.

Was It though? I remember him, motivating his Portugal teammates at numerous occasions, geniune happiness when eder scored the goal in Euro 2016. 🤷

▶Van Gaal: "United is a commercial club" ▶Di Maria: "They signed me to sell shirts" ▶Ibrahimovic: "The structure is so old school" I found a small mentality ▶Mourinho: "You don't know what happen behind the scene" becoming second with United is my best achievement" ▶Sanchez "I asked my agent to get me back to Arsenal after the first training" ▶Bailly " They should stop playing the English guys and give everyone a chance" ▶Ralf " United needs to change the whole structure" They need more facilities" You may hate Ronaldo's act but you should understand his concerns.

His only concern is him being on bench and not taking the glory and spotlight

All those pundits envy Ronaldo and they just can’t hide it. Thanks Ronaldo for speaking out.

Exactly! Envy. And it makes them appear so weird and childish. What they are talking there is not punditry. It's pure thrash-talking about someone who just spoke his mind to be at peace with himself.

If a player can say such openly sure it's not him alone just that he might have courage above others to voice it. Even mourinho didn't treat him well but he was obedient, therefore something is hiding

Ronaldo deserves all the respect in the world. He was ill treated. We can all judge by his performance thus far. Period.

ill-treated by who? Certainly not the manager. Ronald should apologize to the manager and his teammates before he leaves in January
