He was just sad for losing the penalty and he loves portugal so much that could not contain his emotions. Missing a penalty means missing the target, hitting the post, hitting the crossbar. Saving a penalty is when a keeper stops it from going in. Of course there are poor penalty kicks that can be saved and could count as a miss, but this wasn't the case. CR7's shot was good. Oblak is one of the best Goalkeepers in the world. Funny how people forget this. All the haters/Messi fans have a short memory. Messi also couldn't convert his first penalty at the World Cup against Saudi Arabia. Look i've always been honest about my preference for Messi, but there comes a point in life where reality kicks in. For some it's sooner than for others. In Ronaldo's head, he's still 25, still capable of performing. People forget that when you are obsessed with something, and don't know any better, the second you realize you're not the same as before, it can hit you extremely hard. Ronaldo has been fighting all the slander, all the scrutiny since the beginning, and shut people up every time. Nothing he's done beyond 30 years old will affect his legacy as one of the greatest ever. You can tell he's working even harder to stay fit at 39 and tries to literally fight against aging. He's has his toxic traits, but at the end of the day, it's totally understandable why he would cry. For me it felt like he finally accepted he can't do it alone anymore. Mark my words, this could change Portugal's entire trajectory this euros. Wouldn't surprise me if he humbles himself and they win the tournament now. The only embarrassing thing here is the panel.
