11:05 My old vo-tech used to have those Lowell speakers with the green back can installed back when it was first built in the 70s. They have sadly been thrown away in the dumpster and were replaced with Valcom? tile speakers as of this year.

my former high school has these in the cafeteria, but except they are white. there is a lone aluminum one in a second floor classroom. The other speakers are Soundolier M-222s and a lone cloth-front wall unit in the music room (possibly an Argos)

That's an odd mix. Sounds like the intercom system had some work done at some point. Quite a bit of the schools built in the 80's through the 90's in my area used these speakers in classrooms. My high school had some that had a volume control towards the bottom. Those speakers were Soundolier brand since I was able to see the building plans for the classrooms and it was noted on those plans. Not every classroom speaker had a volume control just some for whatever reason.

@ I’m not really a huge fan of having Penton speakers. Also, there definitely was a lot of work on the system. The school was built in 1975 I believe. They completely renovated the school and expanded in 2014. However, the locker room from the original building, in the gym actually has a combination of Penton LCS and older yellow Quam C5s in a back room

@ Oh and also, my middle school used Bogen S8T series speakers with volume controls in the classrooms, which are tied to some square Lowell IC-105 speakers. Some classrooms had weird square speakers looking exactly like the Lowell IC-105 but they have volume knobs which are weird because they are like the Bogens but a square version

That is a lot of Speakers and I think it can get really loud when Music and PA Announcements are made. and I like that Indyme Lowe's Special Assistance and Walgreens tone to the Doorbell Chime, I am gonna want to do one that plays a Sound when any Door or Window Opens in the house

What happened the the Quam extended response series? I got a Quam for Christmas and I was expecting an extended response but it was not.

It seems like those are rare Quam speaker drivers with the blue sticker. My first intercom speaker that lives in the workshop is a Quam and has the blue extended response series sticker that is a C10 version. I know there's a C5 version as well. I think those drivers were made sometime in the mid to late 2000s.

Nothing changed in the workshop and the video was getting too long. I just wanted focus on the main room since that's where the changes took place. Plus its kind of used for storage at the moment.
