Hace mucho tiempo que hice unos poemas que quiero dramatizar en Cuba y tiene como eje fundamental un encuentro entre lo africano y lo gallegos soy descendientes porque estás nacionalidades formaron con hilos indestructibles la nacionalidad cubana es un performan que incluye rumba y guaguanco con la muñeira y al final del espectáculo termina con una conga santiagura y la gaita hace lo que la trompeta China en cuánto al trabajó de Cristina es sinónimo de calidad y triunfo en buen galego es Chapo,chapo salud y éxitos Cristina te admiro gracias por triunfar..

If you think she shatters that stereotype of bagpipe players then you should see Galicia it will shatters that stereotypical image of Spain too. I would also suggest you look up Susana Seivane, Carlos Núñez, Milladoiro. There are many other areas also have bagpipes; Ireland, And Brittany in France, also the neighbouring area in Spain to Galicia, Asturias. Thank you for posting the video.

Bagpipes exist and have existed all across Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, the low countries, England, Scandinavia, the Baltic, Russia, central and eastern Europe, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, the Balkans, Greece, Turkey, right across North Africa, Persia/Iran, and many places in the Middle East and into India (there are places I've left out of course). Just mentioning places that you imagine are "celtic" creates an entirely false impression. Bagpipes are not a "celtic" instrument and their use does not denote "celtic" music.

Parece un chamame de la Provincia de Corrientes Argentina, música en la que tuvieron mucha influencia los jesuitas españoles, seguramente usarían la gaita y el acordeón y el ritmo. De hecho creo cuando vino Carlos Núñez a Argentina estuvo hablando de conexiones entre la música gallega y el chamame!

pues tambien tiene el ritmo de los tradicionales del este d baviera "zwiefache" y llamados furiant en checia....que variaciones se escuchen hasta bulgaria y en el norte de grecia.....claramente tiene el chamamé sus origenes y la basis en europa....y la musica en algunos esquinas de europa conservaron los ritmos del siglo 1800 hasta hoy.....el accordeón ... se ha extendido desde austia/alemania desde 1830...y así muchos melodias y ritmos....Lamentablemente carlos se perdió en el romance del celtismo, que tenía el propósito de separar a Galizia del resto de España .... y en un reportaje escuché que el resto de Europa solo aplaude ahogado y monótono .... pero hoy yo ver que también toca "zwiefache" de Baviera ... junto a la música irlandesa ... que es, por supuesto, música irlandesa y no celta ... quién sabe si los celtas cantaron el "yodel" hace 2000 años en el Tirol ... y las gaitas pueden encontrarse en India / Pakistán. en Turquía / Bulgaria y se está reviviendo en Europa Central ...es esta chica Cristina que mas se orienta a antigua musica gallega y caga en el celta-romantismo...menos mal

genial Cristina! Esta chica se caga en el romanticismo celta que inventaron para diferenciar galicia con el resto de espanya....no hay musica celta...igual irlandesa o otros....que estan muy vinculada con la musica europea en general del siglo 1800.....y un "zwiefacher" del este de baivera/oeste de chekia tocado con el bock suena "celta" (bock, una gaita regional - y bock es el macho de cabra llamada gaith - in gotic gaits) , si lo tocas un poco mas rapido con guitarra....es una buena bulleria....la musica siempre ha viajado, estaba libre y lo han adaptado regional....pero hablar de musica celta es un poco espantoso....quien sabe si el yodel alpino es origen de celta continental o lo han aprendido de los vecino ilirios o raetos...o de los indigenas de la europa que vivieron alli antes de la colonisación de las culturas indo-europeas...? "celtig region" con ancestros y influencias de las culturas iberos, celtas, suebos, romanos, griegos, bereber.......y sus esclavos.....los tiempos han pasado...y hoy es galicia.....que problemas hay en europa? Podemos elegir en casi todos regiones una ascendencia de un pueblo antiguo que nos gusta especialmente y soñar
