Farrell con el soprano tenía un estilo completamente distinto a Henderson, Lo podemos escuchar con Billy Cobham o en Friends con Chic Corea, también en su propio album Great George.

Jazz royalty right here. I about got up and left the room when AJ took a bass solo. Too cool...too groovy. About to share this with my son, who, like me, is a tenor player also. Rest in Heaven Michael, Joe H., Joe F., Freddie and George. Miss you guys much. 🙏🏽🙌🏾🎵🎶🎼🎷🎺🎹

Joe Henderson criticized Michael Brecker later in his life for copying his sound, but Joe Farrell does a respectable Dexter Gordon imitation here. They all sound great though.

Speaking of Freddie and reactions, on the Sony videotap series from the 80s or 90s at The Blue Note, there's one with Freddie, Herbie Hancock, and a couple of other jazz greats I don't currently remember, but during Herbie's solo (I believe on Canteloupe Island), he steps out a bit and Freddie's reaction is CLASSIC.

He's not playing out of key, if you mean it in the sense of a clunker. Mike looks over at Randy because Freddie is playing a "patented" Randy Brecker riff on the chords. It's admiration and something of an inside joke.
