Yeah I once got blowgun while going slow build vanessa, it is actually insane if you have the "increase weapon damage when you slow", that shit started dealing 300 poison and more per use reeeaal quick

Crit core is broken because aggression is still pretty meta. If a fight lasts longer than 6 seconds, that's actually pretty long in my experience.

I don't get why Kripp only sees the Core (the classic variant) as a combo enabler - just play it with the Combat Core on the right + some small cooldown / multicast stuff on the left (e.g. Miss Isles, fiber optic, pulse rifle) and Combat Core just goes brr

The core enables CC builds like no other core. Particular Ray builds. Beta ray charged by the core is lots of freeze lock-down. Omega ray is damage scaling so like pulse rifle is very good with it. Omega ray is burn scaling. Gamma ray is poison scaling. probably 2 most important rays is gamma ray and beta ray. I don't think it is the worst. i think friend core is probably worst right now because its only strategy is Brickbuddy. Diamond brickbuddy. Pure shield isn't that good because it can run into poison Vecessa build which is fairely common early on. Pupperfish falls off late game on average but early game, it's dominate strategy. Previously with robotic factory, Walter cooler and Ice friend, Friend core had weak early game but it would dominate all other cores in end game. Now you basically NEED to get brick buddy to be good and you need hope for First Aiden, Hopefully with freeze enchantment. Big gamble. no reward.
