I dunnow why, but for me it seems like rito forgot about fiora, with all of that stuff and changes she became useless and weak. I cant tell when I saw fiora last time in my games, and more of all, saw fiora completely owning. Its like months ago. Or even years lmfao. I play in GM elo, btw I tried her myself too, but after 30-40 games just give up. No matter what position you put her in, there will always be someone better at it. Split push? Jax. Garen. The same heroes will create more pressure on the enemy. They are simpler and they are more powerful. Better in fights. Even Fiora's feature - a duel - dies in agony, because the same Camilla or Riven is much scary in a 1v1 all-in fight. So if you're not a stubborn Fiora crush nerd, then there are a lot more interesting characters that you can put a lot less time and effort into and get a lot more bang for your buck.
