Umberto D is such a moving film. The moment where he loses the trust of his dog is devastating.

That moment broke my heart, I couldn’t ever see myself doing something like that with my cats! Thanks for watching and sharing!

Cool pickup, Mac! I have not yet picked up Umberto D. Would love to hear what you think of it. De Sica directed Bicycle Thieves which is an amazing film. Enjoy!

Hey James, I really enjoyed Umberto D, it had a similar vibe to Bicycle Thieves, a man being jerked around with his pension and having fallen on hard times, trying to do what he can to make the money he needs to pay his debts and keep the room he rents. I need to pick up Bicycle Thieves, I checked it out from the library years ago and enjoyed it! I would suggest having enjoyed Bicycle Thieves, that you should pick up Umberto D. Thanks for watching, I am always eager to see the videos you make and post!

I am also not a fan of that shipping method. I like how you restrained yourself to just 1 pick up. I haven't seen that film. I've still got many Criterions to catch up on and several that I'm curious about have been streaming on Max for a while.

There were a few I thought about, but told myself I haven’t been watching what I do have, so that kept me to just one. I also have a bunch in my wishlist for the Disney Movie Club, so I know I am going to blow a lot on that now that they are shutting that service down. Thanks for watching and for sharing!

Bicycle thief is heartbreaking. One of best stories ever told. Hits harder if you have children.

I watched Umberto D and it has the same feels, but with a pet. It is very good, yet heartbreaking the same! Thanks for watching and for sharing!
