My wife and I met Ethan and his wife yesterday at a Chipotle of all places. There were a few customers getting their takeout and the staff of 20 somethings that were clueless to the notion that famous people were having a sit down meal while traveling through. They were so nice and friendly. It was truly a fun experience meeting them!

This is so Before Sunset style. At the Shakespeare library I. Paris moment. I want to see them in a 4 Before Sunset part. Where Jesse is one of the twins in a place like this a library picking books. Beautiful. This video is a short film itself. The way Ethan refers to the first date with Uma...I can see the script of this 1 hour movie father and daughter picking up book/dvd talking about life, memories, childhood experiences, holidays trips. I'm going to very respectfully disagree on that one. Twice a year I face a 14 hour flight and it's very difficult for me to find films which I actually want to watch (because I've already seen the ones I'm interested in). So if a film can keep me engaged during arguably the worst bits of my year, it's doing something right. Moon was one. The Liberace movie was another. There have been a few, but they're rare.

These two spoke about a lot of the same movies on the Letterboxd channel this week. I appreciate their love for Days Of Heaven, one of my favourites & the Criterion 4k blew my mind. Days of Heaven is a cinematic masterpiece. I’m surprised he doesn’t know the history behind the cinematographer who is going blind while he shot that film. The history behind that film is extra extraordinary and it’s the most beautiful film. I have ever seen over and over and over. If anyone is reading this and has never seen it, please do yourself a favor. I promise you won’t be sorry. It’s spectacular. And the story and the acting and everything. It’s perfection!
