This is a really powerful piece. The doctor is so amazing and the message so stark. First about the sheer nastiness of this disease and its impact on a relatively young and relatively fit cohort. A good interview, thanks! An addition to the more severe symptoms seen in black people: As John Campbell points out in his videos for a while, black people produce Vitamin D slower than white people and a lack of Vitamin D means the immune system cannot work as well as it should. Yesterday, he presented a study from India which stated that "death was approximately 10.12 times more likely for Vitamin D deficient cases". So it would probably help if black people had their Vitamin D levels checked and would take a supplement of Vitamin D if the levels show a deficiency.
@lizbetavern13554 жыл бұрын

@@Ash-do2pv valid point, I must agree! Though Public Health England recommend vitamin D supplements, which amongst other things are proven to help with respiratory conditions generally. @desmondroberts60344 жыл бұрын
PEdulis Here's the thing: white people generally cover themselves with clothes for most of the year so, don't produce enough Vitamin D in their skin either. The nutrient is readily available through the diet: fortified breakfast cereals, oily fish, eggs, red meat as well as supplementary pills.
@PEdulis4 жыл бұрын
@@Ash-do2pv Are you a medical professional to make this statement? If not, why are you so sure that your personal opinion is a medical fact? And if you are not sure that it is a fact, why do you make it sound like it was? Here are two points you should consider regarding your personal opinion which obvisouly is NOT a medical fact: 1. As I wrote, John Campbell spoke about a study done in INDIA. As you may know, India is certainly a sunny country, you might call it tropical AND they did find enough patients with covid-19 who HAD Vitamin D levels that were considered too low, in fact low enough to result in 10 times as many people with those low levels dying from it than those who had sufficient levels of Vitamin D. 2. John Campbell also interviewed a medical doctor who is actually a professor for immunology who lives in Bagdad, Iraq and who said that her personal Vitamin D levels were too low although she lives in sunny Bagdad and that she therefore takes Vitamin D supplements to boost her immune system. So I ask again: What is your medical expertise to make the statement you made? If there is none, better don't confuse people by making statements that you cannot support by any facts.

But there is hope that God has promised us. He assures us that our enemy death will be eliminated soon. Revelation 21: 3-5 which says; "3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”5 And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also he says: “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”

But since this has happened I'm not impressed with Boris mainly because he acted too late, I watch Farage hanging about at Dover pointing out to everyone the trickle of illegal immigrants trying to cross the channel, and the less said about Trump the better. I still believe in Brexit but it's about sovereignty for me I don't believe there to be an economic benefit, but the politicians and activists pushing for it are really pissing me off, with all this going on it can wait another year as far as I'm concerned.

You’d be sedated anyway, so wouldn’t notice it.
@spark_67104 жыл бұрын
Yes ! So, the best thing is not to go there ! They'll sedat you ,or induce a comma ,but that's not pleasant & another stress to our bodies ! We'll get very weaken ( muscles & functions of normal things ! ).So, sleep well & eat things to boost immune system like ginger ,garlic ,organic apples &organic carrots , organic blueberries. Onions ,organic honey , organic green tea ,turmeric so on.Wash your hands vigorously with a soap for 20 seconds ( sing happy birthday song twice )& clean your grocery bag's handles and groceries with a 60%-70%rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide ( hydrogen peroxide needs to sit on for 15 minutes ! ) Let's keep up with the social distancing ! Stay safe ! 💜💜💜💜💜🥁🐉🎵🎤🎶💕💞

People are dying in large numbers in Britain from Covid 19 whereas in Uganda, no man has died so far from it since it started. In Uganda, patients from coronavirus get treated in hospital, healed and discharged. No death, not even one. What is wrong with the NHS here in the UK? Why are we registering these large number of death when we have the best equipment and the best scientists? Why? Why? Why? I am terribly upset

If Boris Johnson was never put on a ventilator then was he ever really serious enough to have required ICU treatment? I've heard he refused it so that others could have one but that just wouldn't happen in reality.
@domestique39544 жыл бұрын
Sheryl A They didn’t want to kill him-8,2 out of 10 never make it from ventilators... Johnson had 2 big bottles of oxygen,because covid weakens the blood‘s ability to transport oxygen.
@christinehomer21854 жыл бұрын
I would have refused a ventilator as it was proven they were causing more deaths.

Are we missing the boat by not treating people very early on - outpatient basis with HQC/Azithromycin/zinc protocol - as they have done in Marseille, France? Over 2600 patients only 4 deaths in clinical. It seems once they get to the ventilators it's a sad and frightening state of affairs.
@marnie90634 жыл бұрын
It killed more people. 17% increase in fatalities than those in the control group. And had zero effect on length or severity of symptoms. Do your research ffs.
@Livetoeat1714 жыл бұрын
The information about getting a tracheotomy rather than being intubated is very important! If I get Covid and I need oxygen help, I’m going to request the tracheotomy rather than the intubation. Less infection, no sedation needed,...all good
Dear God! These after effects for survivors sounds beyond horrific! Frightening prolonged hallucinations, learning to speak and move again, severe muscle wasting, losing 10-20 points in IQ! Think I’d rather be put in a medically induced coma and allowed to die without the ventilator.

Blue Air has a program in the US to provide free weekend getaways for many medical staff. This could be a lifesaver in many ways. Don't we have to do this for all our medical staff, especially during the pandemic in the months, years ahead? If only to give them the endurance to work to save our lives? And certainly to thanks them for their sweat, tears, and risks.

Does this Doctor actually work at the Royal Gwent as I can only find one David Hepburn in Hull University Hospital? No trace of him anywhere else? Very odd!

What an interesting interview and a real eye opener to the reality for patients and medical staff. So, many conspiracy theorists out there at the moment but when you hear what happens to the people directed affected, how could you believe anything other than the reality of people’s experiences.
@spark_67104 жыл бұрын
I know ! But ,they don't ! They think those doctors / nurses are all hired actors from all over the world ! 😱 But ,I do understand that conspiracies are everywhere in this world & have been happening for thousands of years ! But ,if they could use the commonsense, they should realize that there's no gain for those medical workers ( especially nurses & volunteers from the world )& it's impossible to cordinate any schemes of this big scales as someone's gonna talk ! And it'll fall apart ! As well as small countries & villages are affected like Wales ,Ireland & Bergamot in Italy ,people associate in very small circles there & they often grew up w/ their neighbours & they know each other for life ! So, if any suspicious person ,or episode come out ,they'll know it immediately there's something fishy going on ! Lol. And they'll realize that things are not adding up right away ! As you know that one entire family / generation of one family in Bergamot had been wiped out ! It's not staged ! The Italians know everone there ! A rural ,small village . So so sad ! Please stay safe ! 💜💜💜💜🥁🐉🎵🏴🎤🎶💕💞
