Terry's story about getting into bed 10 minutes before his wife so that he could warm her side of the bed was incredibly touching. What a kind man.

What a sweet man Terry is and such kind nurses who showed him true compassion. The way he spoke about his deceased wife was so full of love and respect. If patients are in the later stages of life, a fall or injury must remind them of their mortality and is clearly very frightening.

I am absolutely thrilled by the wonderful patients and staff in this episode. Terry is the sweetest old gentleman I have met on this show. The way he talked about his wife and how he warmed up her side of the bed for her brought me to tears. The nurses, especially that long haired blond nurse and of course Jen again were so overwhelmingly sweetand caring with him. And then Hector. What a great young man. The way he talks about wanting to become like a mixture of both of his parents really touched me. The way he and his mom interacted is so friendly and respectful, yet funny and lighthearted almost made me jealous. 😅 And last but not least, I'm sooo glad the young lad made it through and got so well again. A big relief. Thanks for the great video! ❤

Terry, what a gentleman. This is who I consider a real man. Showed his wife love and respect and provided for his family. He must have been a wonderful husband and I hope he had children to guide and love. The younger men nowadays could take a lesson from this man. He reminds me of my late love. When he said his wife treated him like a king, I can say the same thing about my late husband. This man and my husband were old school, he was only 65 when he died, there was a 13 year age difference, but let me tell you, I was treated like a lady and an equal.❤. 🇨🇦

To Max's parents: you've been given a great gift. That helmet, no doubt, saved his life. Your son's story might have been our son's as well, had he been wearing his helmet. That was Spring of 2016. So many similarities, quite opposite outcomes. To Max: Please, please advocate properly wearing their helmets to any of your friends who think it's dumb or babyish. Tell them you know of a boy in Maine who was named Tim who didn't.

I'm so sorry to read of the loss of your much beloved son Tim in 2016. I live in New Hampshire, USA. It's so difficult to make kids, teens especially, wear helmets. I recall as a teen I would leave the house wearing it, but as soon as I was out of sight it came off.

If there’s 1 thing that I can’t handle it’s a man crying. I would give them anything to make them ok again. Seeing Terry tearing up and without any family members with him just stuck a knife in my heart. I just wanted to give him a hug and hold his hand! What an absolutely Beautiful Gentle Man! They truly don’t make them like that anymore!! ❤️

I’m 55 and my fiancé is 54. I’ve known her for 37 years. I was no where near the man Terry talked about when I dated her way back when I was 18. I have my best foot forward today. I strive to be a person just like Terry is. Just full of love, emotion and whatever good comes with it. I wish everyone was like him. The young boy teasing his Mom about being a Man made me laugh. But yeah. Physical pain changes when emotional pain still remains but grows for good tears. Yeah. Good cry’s are good. Yup

i was around his age when i was in a tree and nxt thing i know i'm waking up in the back seat of my parents car in the ER parking lot asking where am I and ouch my arm hurts. My brother told me that he heard a scream and me falling 12ft from the tree hitting the branches before the ground. He said that I was mumbling and spit bubbles coming from my mouth. I had a broken arm, a concussion that left a dent like feel on my head and amnesia. I couldn't remember anything, didn;t know who my parents were, where I was, who I was, nothing. I am 32 and still don't remember how i fell and what happened to make me fall etc.

I can't fathom that teens and adults don't understand the physics of using a razor scooter that is designed for a small child. They're closer to the ground and have a much lower center of gravity. When someone is 5'+, if they go over frontwards, they tend to keep their hands on the bar and land face-first. Plus, they can't bend their knees so it's a full impact fall. Riding them at a skate park is bananas.
