So at 27:17 in the original video, right after Liam suggests putting the Ring girl behind Travis and Laura gets spooky with her hair, Sam is looking down towards his desk for a bit, not talking and seeming like he's focusing on something other than the video call. I'm pretty sure this is when he texts Q, but it's hard to tell since his phone is never in frame. This is my best guess though. I kept watching Sam for a long time wanting to see when exactly Q comes into the room with the doll (which happens at 44:34) and I never noted any other time where he looked down / distracted enough to be sending a text.

Its part of a series they're doing called Narrative Telephone where one cast member writes and records a short story and they send it to another who watches it once and records from memory and continues down the line until all the cast has gone.

Their still doing other programs, Narrative Telephone starts with one of them telling a story as one of their characters then they pass the video of the story to the next person in the chain. its great cause you get to watch every cast member try to duplicate the others voice and remember and retell the story they had just herd.
