A trio of Rage quits from Travis, Laura, and Marisha. When you just have to walk away before you tip the table in frustration. This is the hallmark of a good D&D game, engaged players, and passionate storylines. This is what makes Critical role.

Caleb's character quirks aside, a Wizard without a spellbook is no better than a random commoner. He'd have to start a totally new spellbook, and the spells are about 100 gold per spell level to copy into the book from somewhere.

@@rupert003 this was part of what made me love Monk. Take away all the items from the other classes, n almost all will be weak as a kitten. Technically, a warlock would still have their pact item, n be able to cast spells, a Bard could maybe still sing, if n a rogue could still sneak n do sneak attack, with a max of 1+5+10d6, but wizards, sorcerers, rangers, fighters, barbarians, would hit like little girl's. Meanwhile, the Monk is always ready. They're just as ready in the middle of a dungeon, as they are in the bath tub

We have a rule that if we do feel strong emotions over a game, that we can leave however we want but the rest of the table is going to laugh it off. It helps people feel like they can come back easier, when they're oky again. Laughter is the only way to cope in DND lol.

Lower Levels are always more Rage inducing because in the higher levels of a character, you got more Options and less risk when things go wrong. When you're in the probably levels 3 - 5, every single spell, attack, and hit point is a precious drop of water in the desert, so seeing it go up in flames fills people with a way more powerful rage.

I love seeing everyone's faces when Laura stands up at 4:25 Marisha and Sam not really knowing how to handle it and laughing with surprise, Matt looking heartbroken and apologetic, Talesin's face just dropping mid sentence, and sweet, sweet ashley just looking at her and then looking at everybody as if she can't believe it and need to check everyone else sees it too

There is a lot flak about Laura being pregnant and Matt humouring her, and thats why she left. Her bing pregnant aside. The rolls were going badly and she was getting frustrated and Travis saw that and he was laughing at her. He laughed at her couple of times at her. Now remember that she is pregnant and uncomfortable. She had enough what I saw when she stood up, a lot of the tension she was holding was gone. she most likely realized that she was being dumb and too worked up about it. that's when she yelled and joked, " I'm pregnant". later she even admitted that she didn't realize that she was building up the tension and dare I say it the anger.

It's more likely she left because, being pregnant, she wanted to use the bathroom. I doubt she was actually upset at Travis, just the rolls.

Kokobro She clearly was annoyed. She was curtly (if at all) responding to anything the others were saying, seemed to avoid eye-contact and it culminated with the "Yeah, laugh it up!" to Travis. I read the "I'm pregnant!" exclamation as the same kind of "It's ok, I just need a moment!" that MizzKriek saw. It happens.

Point is these people are all friends, they sometimes do get tilted but it doesn't have to be a big soap opera deal like some people in the comments build it up to be. Just because one gets a little annoyed and a bit curt with the other doesn't mean there's a fundamental breakdown happening. Seriously, people are too sensitive.

Sai Prime ...and 100% right. The comradery is what makes Critical Rolle so good. For me seeing their bond, friendships and love for each other is the best. I never question the choices they make for their characters. why would I? I'm not playing it's their game. We all get vexed at someone at one point or another (pun intend). Yet the world keeps turning and life goes on.

Sai Prime Yeah, individual tissys like these are just what you can expect in a playgroup. It's not until those slightly cringey moments become recurring it becomes a problem, which is something we've only seen, sorta, with Orion. And even then what we as spectators saw was pretty low-grade as far as drama goes.
