Great, it's Tech Tip Tuesday! I hope I would have that kind of suspension set up someday. ;)

Thanks Doug/Motion. I doubt I'll ever use an adjustable one but it is interesting on how to do it.
@gwbuilder57793 жыл бұрын
Great tip Doug! Not only does this apply to drag cars, 4x4s as well. The response or reaction of the suspension is always affected by the anti-roll bar. A good adjustment will be a positive reaction and an improper adjustment will affect load and unload in an unequal manner.

Very good info easy to understand... these anti roll system custom made by chassis shop obviously but are there kits to be welded/installed for example A-Body Chevelle or MCarlo?

Thanks for the tech tip.Would this only apply to how the car steers at the hit or could it apply down track as well.

Good info especially the table leg example. I see a Credit Solution decal on the lower rear hatch. You here in Jacksonville, FL?

Since a sway bar/anti roll bar only resists against what the opposite side of the car is doing, could you not adjust either side of the bar as long as you are preloading the bar in the correct rotation on the passenger side?
@tylerzesiger76483 жыл бұрын
So when would you move from roll bar adjustments to making rear steer adjustments?

Have a question Just bought a 95 mustang street strip 990 car. Have anti roll bar Is there position the arms should be ? On mine the arms pointing up about 1 1/2" from floorboard. Thanks

I have a fox with a team z anti rollbar and my car still wants to roll/twist to the passenger side pretty bad. I tried to preload the passenger side and everything and it still wants to roll

Noticed in Cleetus' video yesterday that he has to point Ruby's steering wheel between 1-2 o'clock to make it launch and drive straight. Think that an anti-roll bar adjustment would fix something like that?
@pastaalalamborghini3 жыл бұрын
i know what cleeter said in that vid but i think that was just easy to say at the time. A while back I remember him saying that he wasnt going to fix the cocked steering wheel just to annoy the people who comment about how much they hate the cocked wheel and go on and on.

Do they make these for 4x4 trucks got a mud racing truck and one side of the rear end squates down
@carlosfranco91293 жыл бұрын
On a leaf spring truck with CALTRACS . Do you adust the anti roll bars 1st and then adjust the CALTRACS ?
@tylermoore1213 жыл бұрын
That’s good question. I’d say if you got anti roll bar I’d adjust it to manage the car or truck going left or right and just use the cal trac for tire hit and traction side. Idk if that’s right but that’s what I’m going with.
@mattstewart26823 жыл бұрын
Do you start with the left side neutral and then adjust the right?
@vrm86gt2 ай бұрын
start with the arm level, lock down the driver side then adjust passenger side to neutral.

The passenger side is the side that always "dips" on acceleration.
