Just seeing this now -- these are FSU'sm not my own, videos, so I don't see comments in my own channel page The textbook we were using was Moore and Parker's Critical Thinking, 9th edition -- not the latest edition now. You can certainly buy it in the UK. All of the videos in this sequence -- from when I was still teaching at FSU -- correspond to M&P, yes

Well, it's a 50 minute class period, in a semester where we have to cover a lot of topics, so we admittedly don't get very deep in the one session I've got to devote to this topic.

thanks professor. is the text book you are teaching available to purchase in the uk or alternstively is it avaiable to download? if so please point me to the right direction. in addition the text book your teaching, does it correspond with all your vid re critical thinking? ide appreciate your response. thanks

How does the propaganda system affect this? In terms of critical thinking where is the discussion of the unique relationship with media and power structures both industrial/economic and governmental? You hit all the major information sources The self, Others we know, Government, Media, Religion, and Science I like how you touch on parents as a major source of background info. Were you trying to avoid controversy by not mentioning religion?
