One of the few tutorials that get straight to the point. I hit the jackpot with this video

I think this was the most concise explanation of Blender's UI and navigation I've ever seen.

Oh thank you, it actually took a few tries to make it that concise, glad that it worked out :D

Hi! Just came by to say I bought this course and as an absolute 3D Beginner (even the blender doughnut tutorial was too long for me x.x) I'd say this is really was worth my purchase. For those interested, the course has a short video for each step in the process and because of that I don't feel the pressure of having to learn the next step before feeling comfortable with navigating the workspace or even just adding and modifying objects to the scene, and basic modelling!! Really fun to just try and model things myself before going on to the next step of the process :) This came out before Blender 3, not really sure yet if the process has changed but so far I have no problems. Cheers!!

Just a side note for others (and myself, I guess): For a more in-depth look into Blender's interface there are more popular tutorials out there that go into viewports, different workspaces, etc. But for purposes of just making a quick scene to render out for concept work this cuts just enough corners so you can learn more about what other things Blender can do in your own time. Again, another thing I like about this course.

If anyone bought the course and read this for some reason - is it covers photoshop process or is it more about blender for already experienced artist? I have a pretty decent undestanding of blender and 0 drawing capability, but interested in concept art and mattepainting. Would be course helpful?

So gooooodd! I learned a lot with this! Thank you so much! :D For example I learned about the Viewport Shading, which actually triggered a question... Do you know the difference between "Viewport render Image" and "F12"? Because the results are different
@AXLplosion2 жыл бұрын
Viewport render just renders out an image of what you're currently seeing in the viewport, whereas F12, or the regular render, renders through the camera object using either Eevee or Cycles. For example, you can't render out an image of the default solid shading with F12.

May i please have a tutorial for how do i make concept art in Blender if i know Blender but i know nothing about concept art?
@leaphymoon98812 жыл бұрын
This is less "how to make concept art in blender" and more "how to make an asset for a concept art in Photoshop" Most of the work is arguably done in Photoshop with little to know explanation. I feel like this title is misleading

I was going to follow you here on KZbin, to learn from you, but I can't, in the moments that you speed up the video, nor can I follow you by setting the speed to 0.25. You should be pausing the video every few seconds to see where the cursor is and see the submenu line you choose, crazy. I am a beginner. I like your job, but at that speed it's impossible. Thanks and best regards. Gracias y saludos.

His youtube channel is an advertisement to his real proper step by step PAID tutorials on gumroad. On youtube he just shows his workflow and stuff. If you have enough money, you can buy his tutorials, but I don't. So I'd recommend learning the basics from other youtubers(blender guru, ducky3d, etc) and then looking at this dudes workflow.

14:05 is the funniest thing I have ever seen. Bro just flies past extremely complex node editing and acts like it's just a basic and logical next step that we all can follow along to given what he's told us.

Extremely complex? Not really Node Wrangler addon would do 90% of this work.
