DISMALLY HEARTBREAKING // Blueneck - Mutatis // Composer Reaction & Analysis

I was introduced to Blueneck through hearing their song "Pneumothorax" in the Netflix series Dark. After hearing that song, I just had to do a deep dive into the band and I ended up falling in love with their sound. Out of all of their songs, this is definitely the one that stood out to me the most and hit me the hardest. "Mutatis" is the penultimate track on their King Nine album and although it is emotionally devastating; I do appreciate that the follow up and final track, "Anything Other Than Breathing", has an overall feeling of acceptance and finding peace despite having a complicated message. If you do ever decide to revisit this song in the future, I would highly recommend listening to both of them together. It was great hearing your thoughts on this one, thanks!
