FYI, you can get an automatic cig injector for about $200. Then it only costs about $14 per carton. It takes about 5 minutes to make a couple packs. After doing this for a few years now, I prefer them to Marlboros. Main problem is they don't have the same pack as store bought so will lose some out the ends while carrying unless you're very careful with them. I'm retired so that's not a nig problem for me.

Of course not. These people are morons who have convinced themselves that they are the smartest people in the room. They seriously think "if there is less nic in the stick, then people will smoke less because they wont feel the addiction pulling them in anymore and they can quit". The idea that folks ALREADY addicted will just smoke even more sticks to satisfy their addiction either doesn't occur to them or isn't a valid concern to them. They can only focus on one thing in one dimension at a time. Multi-level problem solving is too complex for the average government stooge.

This is true. But nicotine prevents quitting smoking. But it can be argued societal pressure is even stronger than nicotine. But lower nicotine helps.

The nicotine itself isn't the problem, by itself it can actually be beneficial. The problem is all the other chemicals they put in them. Take carpet glue for example, used to make cigarettes go out, aka fire safe or"FSC".
