Transformational Grammar, with emphasis on tree diagrams. Apparently, a theory propounded in the 1950s!!! And hardly relevant for the teaching of the day. Boy! You helped us students! Though you were v young, so pretty, (you still are ☺), you challenged the status quo. And ensured those uncompromising Drs in the English dept, who never wanted students to pass & pass well changed their archaic teaching methods. Nothing particularly directed at this wonderful woman but rather to all African and for that matter Ghanaian politicians in general; why do they seem to know all that is good and would make the life of the ordinary Ghanaian go up a bit better but they somehow mysteriously do abysmally the opposite when they are in power?
