Thank you very much Joanie and Skyler! I shot this photo with a prop stylist friend, those are her hands, the goal initial plan was to not include the hands, but shot it any way, we did I think 5 pulls total, plus a few other layouts with other breads, cheese, and ham. Noted on adding some green peppers for that nice color pop. Thanks again!

Joanie, Skyler, I love both your channels and it's great to see you working together on this critique. I also commend the guys who submitted their images - great work all round and congratulations to ALL of you! Regarding the coffee shot, 22.15 It's a fantastic, brilliant concept and full marks to him for coming up with this one. I believe I have spotted how Jason created this and what you guys missed. The clue that started my suspicions was the colour of the liquid coffee and the texture of it around the edge of the cup and way it is splashing. No coffee splashes in quite that way, or sticks to the sides of the cup in big globs like that, plus the colour is too weak, pale and orangey - if my morning cup of black coffee was that colour I would feel very disappointed! I believe that Jason has used some very well formed sugar work to produce the coffee flow and splashes, then has rolled the flow in the ground coffee and beans to get them to stick to the sides. If I am correct, well done again Jason for creating this, I do not wish to decry your work, as it is so nearly totally convincing! But we all recognise that in food photography substitute components have to be used when it is impossible to use the real thing. And this is what you had to do. For future reference, it was the colour of the "coffee" that raised my suspicions - could you have used some colouring to darken it a bit? All the rest of the set is so totally convincing and for that alone, big praise. Final comment - I would love to be proved wrong, that it is a brilliant Photoshop composited image with real coffee!

What a coincidence LOL! I've been loving photography for many years, however I always used my mobile phones & admired the work of others. My partner has a DSLR and her interests for photography have been crushed by "harsh" criticisms. For years she has been trying to encourage me to start using her camera so 3 weeks ago I started teaching myself the basics. I mist say, I've searched all over KZbin for videos that make sense to me and you two of you are now the only people/teachers I watch. Thank you so much for your hard work, please keep it up as your work means so much to people like me and god bless you both.👍🏾👍🏾

The coffee image at 22:20 is fantastic but the cup hasn't been masked out properly. You can see a hint of a double-cop on the side of the cup away from the handle. Just some CC from me.

It looks like every piece in the last shot has been composited. Maybe I’m wrong, but if not great job on masking that splash. A lot of work just for that. Would have added less distracting background and smaller orange, raise shadows and highlight the can. Can to orange size ratio is off a little bit.

On the last one, looks like the water on the background it's been photoshoped. Because it has a strange shadow next to the main splash

Please help. I have Canon 90D with 18-135 lens. From the day I brought, I m struggling with one issue. What ever pics I take it doesn't appears FOCUSSED. On display it shows focus point and the point seema Focus, but when looking at the same image in laptop it LOOKS BLUR. I have tried many steps, using tripod, faster shutter, with out touching camera, used timer and connecting to app even watching many videos came through personal calibration and did it. BUT the result is the same. I am not getting a satisfied Focus on the pics. PLEASE HELP, what can I do?
