YESSSS!! the first time i clocked those dragons, my immediate thought was "hey, they kinda look like they might be the dragons Dark Cacao was fighting in his gacha animation" and i'm thinking that maybe DC didn't vanquish them after all like how the in-game history tells us... maybe they were instead driven away to Beast Yeast and went on hibernation to heal after the battle... and now that the Beasts are escaping, the balance in the land is skewed and maybe they're gonna wake up? maybe they'rr tied to Mystic Flour???

I think I might be reading too much into it so maybe I’m wrong but in the trailer where all the beast are shown and their origin story, there’s a part towards the end where they are all captured by the tree. I looked at the video again and they are captured in a specific order. First it’s Mystic Flour, Then Silent Salt, Then Eternal Sugar, Then Burning Spice, and Last Shadow Milk. So I think Mystic Flour will be first and Shadow Milk will be last. (Again I might just be doin too much and reading too much so please forgive me I just want these cookies to be playable 💀😅)

"why are they holding off on making shadow milk playable?" i think it actually has something to do with the timing of his update. we got an ancient (which was a big deal), a super epic, and 2 epics. i think they didn't wanna bombard us with a new beast rarity which is likely what they would've done, so they might make us wait a couple dozen centuries like with white lily 😞

Sad that Shadow Milk cookies isn't first, because I do love his design, however I honestly think its better to hold him off till the end at this point. It would be unfair of him to get 2 updates basically one after another without giving the other beasts a chance. I imagine he will be similar to White Lily in where he shows up in the story at the beginning, and becomes playable at the end.

I was looking at the Mystic Flour background, but instead of Ginseng I was getting heavy General Jujube vibes? If we remember back in the day (I guess now that I say it out loud, this would've been October of last year, dang...), there was a professional VA that announced they were voicing General Jujube in their Twitter bio, but then the mention got wiped ASAP once it was revealed to be a slip-up. It makes zero sense to me if that was fake because the VA has their career on the line. For the last few months I've had a lot of confidence in Jujube's arrival... is that time finally here??

My guess for Shadow milk is that he will be the last beast to be released, he is the most important one of the group after all. And if the ancient cookies gets an Awakenned form that can be leveled like the legendary thing, that could be soo cool, and DC being the first one makes so much more sense that why they didnt buff it for so long.

Maybe the (???) part is about the curse of Pomegranate Cookie bc in World Exploration the boss was named ???. Also, maybe the "awakened dark cacao" file was not a cookie but instead a crystal jam for him? I remember that, when the crystal jams first came for sea fairy + black pearl, it said that they would be "the equivalent of magic candies for the Legendary, Ancient, and Dragon rarities." Honestly, I was expecting a Pure Vanilla crystal jam during the White Lily update, but it would make more sense to give one to dark cacao first.

here's my two cents: i do think that the "Awakened Dark Cacao" is an epic costume. maybe it's a monk-like garb of a younger DC who had just reached Nirvana and that's why the Light of Resolution (his soul jam) chose him. what i'm trying to say is that maybe we're gonna get lore about how the soul jams chose the Ancients as we encounter more and more Beasts!! 🤔 in any case, i'm so excited for a Dark Cacao/Mystic Flour update!! If the news about Mystic Flour Cookie being the 1st Beast Cookie to be playable is true. I'm assuming she'll get a legendary costume based on her true appearance. HOLD THE PHONE FOR A SEC. Notice how Mystic Flour has the same Soul Jam as Dark Cacao. I don't think this "Awakened Dark Cacao" is Dark Cacao at all. I think it's actually Mystic Flour. There's no way they would re-release Dark Cacao rather than simply revamping him, it would be so weird to have two of him in the game. And people will be mad if they have to re-upgrade Dark Cacao all over again if they did that. Also, note the "AWAKENED" in "Awakened Dark Cacao." It makes it sound like an ancient being who was dormant, then brought back to reality - just as the Beasts were. Only thing about this is the rarity, and honestly I think it may just be called epic because they haven't quite settled on the rarity it will be. I personally think it will either be "Ancient" or a new rarity like "Beast", as they don't fit as legendaries nor as super epics, let alone just regular epics. And obviously not Dragons or anything below epic. It'll be cool to see these new cookies balance the current meta a bit, though I am worried about f2p players because of the power creep and how expensive the arena is right now. My hope is that they make more ways to obtain the Super Epic+ Soulstones, specifically Ancient and whatever these beast cookies are going to be. Hopefully they also address beascuit attuning in this next update too...
