Hell yes, I need it! I don't use it a lot, but I need it. Actually, when I do use it, I carry it on my belt as a little backup blade. ( and it looks cool)

I do not have that model yet. But plan to add it. I have several other minimalist Folts and love them. My big mits i like the Flytanium scales and a thick lanyard.

I didn't even know you could get aftermarket scales for these guys. Appreciate the comment!

Good review. The CRKT Minimalist series seems like a good series of knives but when you start getting into the Karambit knife shapes it takes getting used to. I have a few Karambits (folders and fixed blades). I usually carry a TDI knife but a CRKT Minimalist seems like a good alternative that's cheaper. I'm not a neck knife kind of guy but they are a good way to carry a knife concealed.

I’m always a bit too freaked out for neck carry. lol

I have one and it's ok but it's a $15-20 knife. The 5crWhatever doesn't hold an edge for shit. But it sharpens up easy enough.

Makes sense.

Does it hang weird when you wear it around your neck? Seems like it would be more visible through the shirt
@5MinuteKnives2 ай бұрын
@@joebotz1243 not bad. I wouldn’t wear it like that. (Not big on neck knives personally) but this laid fairly flat for the shape of the blade. 👍
