Just had my interview yesterday…wish I would have seen this sooner. I bombed my interview. I got so nervous I forgot EVERYTHING about nursing. Couldn’t even remember a normal blood gas value. It was the most embarrassing, horrific experience of my life.

As someone who is neurodivergent and been an icu rn for over a decade, I disagree about lack of eye contact being a red flag. This is a very ableist take
@CRNASchoolPrepAcademy3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment- I certainly don't have any intentions of implying ableism to any degree and apologize if it came off that way in the video.

My why is the ability to help people who without surgical intervention would die. My dad had his gallbladder rupture and he had to be rushed to emergency surgery. Without that surgery he would have died. If I was younger I would likely go for general surgeon however I'm not young enough for that path.
@CRNASchoolPrepAcademy Жыл бұрын
That is a GREAT "why"!! Thank you so much for sharing and for tuning in. Cheering you on!!

Is it very competitive to get in to CRNA program?
@CRNASchoolPrepAcademy Жыл бұрын
It is! On average, CRNA schools receive about 200 applications per cohort, with about 28 seats or admissions. This equals about a 14% chance of acceptance (again, these are averages across the board. Some receive more, some less. I recently spoke with a program who received 450 applications and grants less than 20 seats!) That being said, people who join CRNA School Prep Academy increase their odds of getting in; we're averaging over 50% acceptance rate for our members! If you're pursuing CRNA, check out our membership options here: www.crnaschoolprepacademy.com/join Thank you for tuning in!! Cheers to your future!
