It is amazing to see a team like Colombia been competing in this challenge. Colombia has been playing together as a team for only 4 years, beating France is crazy. A country that does not even Have a league in just 4 years made such great presentation, beating France and wining a set to Belgium and been so tight close with Puerto Rico

I feel so bad for Britt Herbots and the Belgian team. They won FOUR matches in the VNL and they weren’t even at the bottom of the table yet they were relegated. Korea won ZERO matches and had ZERO points yet they are still in the VNL. The FIVB needs to get rid of this “core team” and “challenger team” BS because this is just ridiculous and unfair to the players.

We felt very sorry for Britts Herbots. You did everything you can Darling. Herbots has been the lifeline of the Belgians in the VNL since 2019. Belgium has good setter and middle blockers but lacks another open hitter that can help Herbots to score in the wings. Their Opposite is also inconsistent. On the other hand, as a host, Croatia is well prepared for this and their overall performance; in blockings, digging, floor defense and accuracy in cross court hits are amazing. Recharge and hopefully, Team Belgium can comeback and reclaim it's place in the VNL with a much more powerful players on its disposal and not just relying on one player, who is Herbots.

クロアチア優勝おめでとうございます！今日のバレーボールを見て分かったことは、組織がしっかりしているチームが上にいけるということが分かりましたね。今年からネーションズリーグは16ヵ国に対して、予選は12試合しかやらないので、当たる保証はありませんが、ベルギー戦以上に日本は苦しい戦いになるとは思いました。下手したら、3週目の日本の調子だと、3ー2、下手したら3ー1でクロアチアが日本に勝ってしまうと思いましたね。ネーションズリーグはレベルが高いので、勝ちを1つでも多くすることが残留出来るかどうかが決まってくるので、1つでも多く勝てることを祈っております！バレーボール大好きな人の日本人より

We know japan would never wanted to be lose again because they had learned the lessons on what happen on their week 3 games and also we know japan will more improve their skills in attacking, the defense is there but they need to more improve their spikes and also the coach of japan need to get some players who are tall because having height is one of the advantages in volleyball tournament. I really hope team japan will do diiferent plays so that they will be ready for vnl 2023 because other teams on that season will totally hard to beat because they will make their team stronger especially teams like Brazil, Italy, China, and USA they will really show their best on that next season..And also to the new challenger team "Croatia" will surely do their best for their first appearance in vnl 2023

That wasn't just a defeat for Belgium. Have you seen 🇧🇪 Britt Herbots (3x topscorer of the event) crying after that tragedy? The faces of the whole group? They have endured covid, injuries (captain), ... and they still didn't rank last, but get relegated because of those "challengers" rules. What about ethics @volleyballworld ??? I won't watch until the rules change.

There are three things to be said: 1. Congrats Croatia. 2. This will show that the weakness of the Belgique team is that there is really only one world class player in the court. 3. The VNL format is ridiculous, it is atrocious that korea is considered elite after the pathetic show they put on this years VNL. They are the ones that should be relegated, they would not have even made it out of the semis in this challenger cup. Very unfair system.

Not only one player can contributed , mostly all players playing in Italy Poland etc . That just too much forcing the sets to Herbots. Where’s Grobelina is she retired from team? She can be a big help plus gestel. More middle plays. De weiver is really good setter she should Maximize all her players. Fabris is very excellent player , they should block her more to frustrates her game. I watched Kazan games and if she was blocked a lot and frustrates her game is very low.

Croatia deserved to win. Belgium relied too much on Herbotts and the game became predictable. The double block was there waiting for her, the setter should at least have made different choices, giving the ball to the other spikers left with only one block.
