Croats were famed warriors throughout centuries in Europe. Then you cry about how we made 300 000 serbs move out of krajina even though you tried the exact same thing and forcefully moved 200 000 non serbs out of krajina witch is only 50% serb. Apparently your actions have consequences, who knew. Jure Francetić defeated a 12 000 strong serb army with 800 men, 400 youst recruited with no help from the axis. Even if it's propaganda and it's actually half that number 800 against 6000 it's still a big victory. We have a common saying all around the Balkan: "a serb shits so much out of his mouth his asshole is jelaous."

And even if they do are willing to let the abused one go, he is exposed to blackmailing and other immoral and humiliating requests from them. But, even in federation that is in harmony, if the member wants to leave, he has a full right to do so. No one has a right to keep someone forcefully to stay in community in which he does not want to be anymore.

Serbs were grouped among "other ethnicities", with the only difference that they were explicitly mentioned. Croatia did not "secede", it "disassociated" and that act was defined as such in the declaration of indepenfence. The federal republics were not invented just like that. No top-down approach. Croatia entered into Yugoslavia as one unit and it kept pre-1918 borders + Medjimurje, liberated by Croatian forces + part of Rijeka province. The borders remained untill 1922. Banovina of Croatia was established in 1939. Communist Party (after war leading party) had special branch for Croatia. During WW2 there was partisans' Main headquarter of Croatia. Communist ruled Federal State of Croatia was established in 1943. Istria declared unification with the matrix Croatia in 1943. Various ZAVNO's (kind of republic government) existed already during the war, and there was one for Croatia. People were joining to the resistance movement, among other reasons, because they did not want to be in unitarist Yugoslavia, and in the the resistance leaders promised them national emancipation. Post-WW2 Croatia's borders were based mostly on those from 1918. Croatia was present whole time, she was not created by the decision of some central body. The cause of war is militant greaterserbianism, siding of Serb-led federal army with rebel Serbs, whome the army gave material (weapons) and logistical support. Serbia wanted to reorganize Yugoslavia by disrespecting of existing borders, treating them as mere administrative ones, and by establishing the voting rule that is valid for homogenous and bad and unjustice for the heterogenous states. Croatia and Slovenia strongly disagreed, as well as Kosovo Albanians. Also Croatia wanted to be out of eternal financing of "underdeveloped" republics, while Croat inhabited areas in Croatia were depopulating bcs of lack of employing possibilities. Also the problem of unequal ethnic criteria of employment (system favorized Serbs and Montenegrins) in oversized federal army came on surface. Croatia was not in a position to choose the war, bcs she was poorly armed, only light, hunting and improvised weapons. Rebel Serbs have been incited, radicalized and indoctrinized for years. The federal army armed them before the outbreak of the rebellion. They were persistently provoking with armed attacks. Whenever Croatian police wad about to crush the rebels, the army would got on the way and thus saved the rebel Serbs from defeat, sometimes even daringly threaten militarily to Croatian police, like when federal army's two fighter aircrafts thtreaten to the transport helicopter of Croatian police with shooting down; police was sent on the task to suppress the rebelion. If Croatia fully bit the bait, the federal army would got an excuse for militarily taking Croatia and establishing military rule. Finally, the organization of military and territorial dustribution of military objects, as well as the ethnic composition of professional army personnel, showed the plans for future military pacification of Croatia.
