Vatican was blessing them. Over 1.000 of their priests were actively involved, Stepinac even declared as saint by them. But, that's Vatican. Nothing strange for them. They're used of being asked for everything over centuries, and will never give up on that, only wrapping will change. It's nicer, shinier over the years(they can't go around slaughtering today with all of this modern "equality"), but basics will always stay the same. My ancestors needed to run away from Dubrovnik because they were Ortodox, even though agreement, made by Tzar Dusan, when he gave it away, was that in Dubrovnik Ortodox church will stay primal, that Vatican won't touch them, and there'll be freedom of religion. Off course, no one cared about it. So, nothing new about what happened later.

Viktor Novak a pro-Yugoslavian ethnic Croat authored a book titled `Magnum Crimen` (Big Crime) where he documented a close relationship between Croatian clericalism (and Vatican) and pro-Nazi Croatian Ustashas that led to the genocide against the Serbs, Jews and Roma in the 1941 - 45 where ~ 700000 people were brutally executed. Not related, but during the ethnic clashes in Croatia in the '90s, Croatian state expelled 250000 Serbs who lived there for centuries.

Thank you for this! I will purchase this book. The story needs to be told. My Grandfathers entire family were taken there and never heard from again. He was left alone at 11 only because his Mother (my Great Grandmother) pushed him off the back off the wagon and told him to run and hide. He chased after the wagon trying to grab hold of it and his mother peeled his fingers off the back of the wagon. She was saving his life but at 11 years old, it didn't feel like that to my Grandfather. He went on to have a beautiful life with my Grandmother & children, a farm etc.. but he often spoke of his resentment of being left behind. Survivors guilt. God bless all of the innocent lives lost. The solution of the "Serbian question" was widely prepared, elaborated, organized, supported and executed by the plan of extermination by all subjects of the society (and not the "small number of Ustashas") of the then-regulated independent state of croatia. What an awful place, Jasenovac, as the epicenter of independent state of croatia is not the only object of genocide against Serbs. Crimes by the ustasha in independent state of croatia were committed on the territory of today's Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also (almost not mentioned) in part of Serbia - Srem! Lives are taken all over to unarmed Serbs from the home threshold, in classrooms, mines, in public places, to the prepared places of cruel killings. All known and unknown places of martyrdom can not be counted here - Jasenovac, Jadovno, Pag, Prebilovci, Sadilovac, Motike, Glina, Garavice, Susnjar ...

"God save us from the plague, War and Croats. " When it's mentioned cutthroat instinct of the Croats, slaughtering children, women and old people. Slaughter of the helpless. Everyone will immediately think of the ustasha ndh (independent state of croatia) , but few will know that this vicious and savage mentality is much older than ustasha in ndh. "Gott, behutte uns von Pesten, Krieger und Kroaten!" This embarrassing mark for an entire nation was created during the Thirty Years' War of 1618-1648. Terrible behavior of Croats and their atrocities remained in writing at the cathedral in the eastern German city of Magdeburg, the first European city to feel on its skin the sadistic being of the Croats who will come to full expression in Jasenovac and other death camps in ndh during the Second World War. Prof. Lazo M. Kostić: "The Croats showed brutality that every Hun or Avar would feel shame, but their history is full of horror, betrayal, kidnapping, robbery, murder of innocent and helpless." In the book The European Stage (1653), there are specific examples and evidence of the overwhelming Croatian crimes, crimes against the civilian population and the looting character which Croatian soldiers showed during the Thirty Years' War. For example, through the description of the events in the European stage, it is written about a large number of wild Croats who, after the Battle of Bela Hora, which the Czech Protestants lost from the Habsburg Catholics, collected a loot from the Protestant enemies, as well as from their allies of Bohemian Catholics with monstrous murders of women, men and children who cut off their heads, arms and legs and then cut them into pieces. According to the book The European Stage (the second volume, printed in 1679) in the German city of Magdeburg, the Croatian army (after which "God save us from the plague, War and Croats" was created) in 1630 entered in this East German city and according to the writing the following occurred: "Then began the looting, kidnapping, harassment, embarrassment of girls and women, it was terribly and horrible. In the church of Katarina, fifty-three people, mostly women, were ruthlessly cut off their heads. They were found dead with bent and folded hands. Some women were executed during their delivery. It can not be described this misery and sadness ... They took many women and some men connected with chains with them to the camp. Women are abused in their devilish lust in a miserable way, especially small girls of ten or twelve years of age who have not been spared. They had to pay with their heads ... Genocide is the most severe crime against humanity and international law. The genocide committed by Ustashas of the Independent State of Croatia from 1941 to 1945 is a premeditated and programmed crime.Genocide over children, new-borns who just came from their mothers’ wombs, is the most severe of the most severe crimes against humanity and international law.The Independent State of Croatia was the only one in the world that had concentration camps for children from infants to 14 years of age. There is a list of names of 19 432 children murdered in the cruellest way in the Ustasha camp Jasenovac, 7000 in Sisak camp and just in pits on Kordun there are 6677 of boys and girls. Serbian children were starved and killed, only because their parents were Serbs. One of the most severe events, even when it comes to the Ustashas, happened at the school in Šargovac, near Banja Luka. The Ustashas, led by Frater Tomislav Filipović, called SOTON, entered the classroom, and Filipović asked the teacher to bring a Serbian child. After taking him to the girl Radojka Glamočanin, Filipović slaughtered the child in front of the class, demanding from the Ustashas to follow his example. On that day, 52 children were slaughtered in front of their peers. Teacher Dobrila Martinović lost her mind from that horror. It has been shown that in the massacre in the villages of Drakulić, Šargovac and Motike in Banja Luka, more than 500 children, under the age of 14, were killed, that is, from about 2,300 killed people, every fifth victim was a child! Who could slaughter 422 Serbian peasants, 149 of them children up to age of 13 in the Serbian church in Sadilovac on Kordun, on July 31st, 1942? Who could then bring straw, pour petrol over slaughtered, often still alive children with parents, brothers and sisters and burn them in a Christian church? And many more of them were slaughtered and burned in their own homes! Who came up with the idea of the Dead Wheel Dance on a Kordun hill (above Rakovica, near Slunj), when on July 21st 1942 Ustashas killed over 420 Serbian civilians in shelters and homes, and then took 10 slaughtered girls and 10 boys from age 5 to 7, took off their clothes, laid girls on their backs to form a circle, connected their hands, spread their little legs and placed naked slaughtered boys on top of them! Innocents were slaughtered, children next to parents, brothers next to sisters, grandchildren next to grandparents. Death joined them forever. Minister of Justice NDH Milovan Žanić on 2 June 1941 in Nova Gradiška presented the national program of Pavelić's state: "This State, our country, is only for the Croats, and not for anyone else. There are no ways and means which we Croats will not use to make our country truly ours, and to clean it of all Orthodox Serbs." Men, women and children were slaughtered with knives, murdered with axes, hammers and mallets, shot in the forehead or back of the head, fried in fire, burned in their houses, tied with wire or chains, thrown into bottomless pits, or pit they had to dig for themselves before a terrible death, rushed headlong into the depths of sea, rivers, hung, beaten to death, starved, died of thirst… Srbosjek (literally "Serb cutter" in Croatian, often referred to as "cutthroat") is the colloquial Croatian term for a type of knife used for killing prisoners in Croatian concentration camps in World War II.The knife was fixed on the glove plate in order to prevent injuries and to prevent taking care of a separate knife in order to improve the work speed. In the Jasenovac concentration camp competitions in speedy slaughter were organized by the Ustaše. The winner of one such competition was Petar Brzica, because in one night (between August 29 and August 30, 1942) he slaughtered 1,350 prisoners. From 1991 to 2000 humble memorial for victims of the Independent State of Croatia were also destroyed. Their names were gone and so they were murdered for the second time. This also happened on the location of the Serbian church Nativity of Mary (built 1826) in Glina where Ustashas in late July 1941 slaughtered 1564 Serbs and where a Memorial Home was built with memorial plaques with names of the victims in front. On September 25th, 26th and 27th, 1995 the memorial plaques were shattered and removed, and the previous name of Memorial Home was changed to Croatian Home.

@@marias.2629 Crimes by the ustasha in independent state of croatia were committed on the territory of today's Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also (almost not mentioned) in part of Serbia - Srem! In the so-called Independent State of Croatia, the Ustasa leadership instituted a reign of chaotic terror so extensive that German and Italian troops essentially had to administer the countryside. The Ustasa regime murdered or expelled hundreds of thousands of Serbs residing in its territory. In rural areas, Croatian military units and Ustasa militia burned down entire Serbian villages and killed the inhabitants, frequently torturing men and raping women. In all, Croat authorities killed between 320,000 and 340,000 ethnic Serbs in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina between 1941 and 1942. encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/axis-invasion-of-yugoslavia

Why was this covered up? It wasn't actually. Within what used to be Yugoslavia, this was a very much known fact, taught in every school, including excursions and school trips organized to the Jasenovac horror site. It's just that the Western media did not report as much on issues in Yugoslavia or other countries in what was called the Iron curtain during the Cold War, until the fall of the Berlin wall. Problem is that soon after the fall of the Berlin wall, media in countries that were "freed" from communism assumed a Western style media, and if Yugoslavia had been one of those countries (which it was not) this topic may have hit the Western mainstream media. But it did not, because Yugoslavia stayed closed for the West for another 10 years before it broke up in a bloody war between the states that made up the country. As Jasenovac was a camp on the territory of Croatia, which during that war was ready to join the West and NATO and install hard-core capitalism as soon as possible and was of predominantly Catholic religion, it was not in the interest of the West to dig up the Nazi history of Croatia, but rather support it in every possible way, as opposed to Serbia which is of Orthodox religion (just like Russia) and was not as keen on switching to free market economy or joining NATO for that matter (which is the reason why the Western media at the time had demonized Serbia and the Serbs, so as to justify the 1999 bombing and finally establish a NATO base on the territory now known as Kosovo). In other words, by the time the West could have heard about Jasenovac through free media out of Yugoslavia, it was no longer in the interest of the West to "advertise" the role of Croats in the Jasenovac holocaust.

Encyclopaedia Britannica, 15th Edition (1991 - i.e. still before Western anti-Serb propaganda campaign started) Macropaedia, Vol. 29, page 1111 In Croatia [in 1941] the indeginous fascist regime set about a policy of "racial purification" that went beyond even Nazi practices. Minority groups such as Jews and Gypsies were to be eliminated as were the Serbs: it was declared that one-third of the Serbian population would be deported, one-third converted to Roman Catholicism, and one third liquidated. ... Ustasha bands terrorized the countryside. The partial [sic!] collaboration of the Catholic clergy in these practices continues to be a component of Serb-Croat suspicion. Encyclopedia Britannica, WWII in Yugoslavia "...IN BOSNIA...THE CROATIAN FASCISTS BEGAN A MASSACRE OF SERBS WHICH, IN THE WHOLE ANNALS OF WORLD WAR II, WAS SURPASSED FOR SAVAGERY ONLY BY THE MASS EXTERMINATION OF POLISH JEWS"!!!!!!!! One can find the sentence in the versions of Britannica from 1971 to 1986 (entry: Yugoslavia, World War II). Probably at later editions too... We believe you have heard about suffering of Polish Jews. There you have the comparison!!! The New Encyclopedia Britannica, Volume 27, Macropedia (Knowledge in Depth), edition 1986, page 467, entry: Fascism in the Balkans (1930's) RADICAL FASCIST movements developed in some Balkan countries - MOST PROMINENTLY IN CROATIA,... they were OBSESSED by an extremist spirit of terroristic violence in a strange union with RELIGIOUS FANATICISM. As result of German victory the Croatian USTASHE, a party under the leadership of Ante Pavelic (1889-1959), turned Croatia into a state on the model of the MOST EXTREMIST NATIONAL Socialist Party formation, the SS, or Schutzstaffel,... The Ustashe persecuted and killed hundreds of thousands of Orthodox Serbs and Jews. Catholic monks and other priests are alledged to have taken an active part in this STRUGGLE FOR THE "PURITY" OF THE CROATIAN LAND... 1945 Britannica book of the year, page 216, entry: Croatia Few regimes under German control had committed SO MANY CRUEL ACTS AS CROATIA DID. Serbs and Jews were persecuted and many of them murdered. Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations, Europe, edition 1995, page 91, entry: Croatia Slavko Kvaternik (the second in command to the Croatian WWII fuehrer, Dr Ante Pavelic) explained (on the day of formation of the WWII "Independent State of Croatia", on April 10, 1941) HOW PURE CROATIA SHOULD BE BUILT - by forcing one third of the Serbs to leave Croatia, one third to convert to Catholicism, and one third to be EXTERMINATED. Soon Ustasha bands initiated a BLOODY ORGY of mass murder of Serbs unfortunate enough not to have converted or left Croatia on time. THE ENORMITY OF SUCH CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR SHOCKED EVEN THE CONSCIENCE OF GERMAN COMMANDERS, but Pavelic had Hitler's personal support for such actions which resulted in the loss of the lives of hundreds of thousands of Serbs in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, the Ustasa regime organized extermination camps, the most notorious one at JASENOVAC where Serbs, Jews, Gypsies, and other opponents were massacred in large numbers. Encyclopedia of the Holocaust, Vol 1, page 323, entry: Croatia CROATIA (Nazavisna Drzava Hrvatska or Independent State of Croatia, NDH) ... established during WWII, that was in existence from April 1941 to May 1945. Its area... CONSISTED OF WHAT ARE TODAY THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA AND THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA... Its capital was Zagreb. It had population of 6.3 million, of whom 3.3 million were Catholic Croats, 1.9 million Serbs, 700,000 Muslim..., 40,000 Jews, 30,000 Gypsies... ... Shortly after taking control, the Ustasha, WITH THE SUPPORT OF MANY CROATS, EMBARKED UPON WHAT IT CALLED "THE PURGE OF CROATIA FROM FOREIGN ELEMENTS," which had as its main purpose the ELIMINATION OF THE SERB MINORITY. In a BRUTAL TERROR CAMPAIGN, more than half a million Serbs were killed, a quater of million expelled, and 200,000 forced to convert to Catholicism. THE USTASHA REGIME IN CROATIA, AND PARTICULARLY THIS DRIVE IN THE SUMMER OF 1941 TO EXTERMINATE AND DISPOSSESS THE SERBS, WAS ONE OF THE MOST HORRENDOUS EPISODES OF WORLD WAR II !!!!!!!!!! THE MURDER METHODS APPLIED BY THE USTASHA WERE EXTRAORDINARILY PRIMITIVE AND SADISTIC: thousands were hurled from mountain tops, other were beaten to death or their throats cut, entire villages were burned down, women raped, people sent to death marches in the middle of winter, and still others starved to death. The Ustashi massacres had surpassed ANYTHING experienced even by the Germany of Hitler. Online book "Genocide in Croatia" www.spirituallysmart.com/genocide_in_croatia.pdf

Italian General Aleksandro Luzano writes to Mussolini: Dear Duche My unlimited loyalty to you, I hope, for the right, in a sense, to deviate from a strict military protocol. Therefore, I am in a hurry to describe to you an event that I myself personally attended for the last three weeks. By visiting the sights of Stolac, Capljina and Ljubinje (between 60 and 130 km north of Dubrovnik) - I find out from our intelligence officers that Pavelic's Ustasha, , committed a crime in one village (Prebilovci), and that, when it is being cleared, the surrounding Serbs are upset again. I do not have the words to describe what I found out there. In a large school classroom, I found a slaughtered teacher and 120 of her students! No child was older than 12 years old! The crime is a dull and naive word. It was beyond any insanity! Many cut off their heads and sorted them on the bench benches. The Ustashas pulled out the hoses from the mouthpieces and, as New Year's tricks, stretched them under the ceilings and nails in the walls! Roy fly and intolerable stench did not allow us to stay here for longer. I noticed a salted bag of salt in the corner and found out that they slaughtered them slowly, soldering their necks! And just as we were leaving, children's swelling was heard in the back of the bench. I send two soldiers to see what it is. They took out a pupil, he was still alive, breathed with half-cut throats! With my own car, I take this poor child to our military hospital, restore it to consciousness and find out the full truth about tragedy. The criminals first raped Stano Arnautovic teacher and then killed them before the children. They raped eight year old girls. Through all this time, he sang the gypsy orchestra brought and forcefully hit the tambourine! For the eternal shame of our own, a Roman church and a man of God, a pastor, he participated in all this! The boy we saved quickly recovered. And as soon as the wound healed, with our carelessness, he escaped from the hospital and went to his village to search for his relatives. We sent a patrol behind him, but in vain; they found him on the doorstep of a slaughterhouse! There are no more than a thousand souls in the village! On the same day, we discovered this later, when a crime was committed in the school, the Ustashas captured another 800 inhabitants of the village of Prebilovci, and thrown them all into a pit or killed them on the road to the pit. Only 300 men were saved. Only they managed to break through the Ustasha ring around the village and escape to the mountain! Those 300 survivors are stronger than Pavelic's most elite division. All they had to lose was lost! Children, women, mothers, sisters, houses, property. Even the fear of death is free. The meaning of their lives is only in revenge, in their terrible vengeance, they are, in a way, the shame they have survived! And such villages, such as Prebilovci, are full of Herzegovina, Bosnia, Lika, Dalmatia. The populations of Serbs have reached such a situation that many water sources are also polluted in those parts. From a spring in Popovo Polje, not far from a cave where 4,000 Serbs were thrown, reddish water broke out, I personally convinced myself to that! On the conscience of Italy and our culture, there will be an indelible stain, if, while the time is, we are not distancing ourselves from the Ustashas and not preventing us from being attributed to supporting the foolishness!(There were 42 concentration camps in Croatia, of which 9 were for children only)

Logos This is a blatant lie. Serbs did not set up or run concentration camps, nor were they, in any way, committing executions based on the ethnicity. The “Sajmište” concentration camp, territorially near Belgrade, was located on the official NDH territory and the Independent state of Croatia specifically took care that none of the staff were Serbian. Serbia was under occupation, and was AGAINST the Germans, not in alliance with them, as any history book and possibly your grandfather’s testimony could teach you. You are, of course, free to write your own history and fabricate facts on KZbin. Here, I’ll join you: umm...oh, I know - I was actually once married to JFK, it was actually me who sat nect to him in that car, not Jackie O. Well said, The world needs to see this and I commend this author for shedding a light on a dark period of history that is not often talked about - the horror commited by the Nazis (and by their con-conspirators) in the Balkans during WW2. The Balkans had it's own Holocaust, and in this one, the primary victims of Nazi atrocities were Serbs, as well as the Jews, Roma, and other ethnic minorities who did not support the nazi regime . My Serbian grandfather (who was born and lived in Croatia at the time of WW2) was a survivor of four concentration camps - Zemun, Aushwitz, Mathausen and Dachau. Zemun was a Nazi led cocentration camp in Serbia that my grandfather has often stated had been the worst of them all - surpassing the horrors and atrocities of Aushwitz, Mathausen and Dachau.

The State Commission of the Republic of Croatia for the Investigation of War Crimes of Occupiers and their Assistants determined on May 18, 1945 the number killed in Jasenovac ranged from about 500.000 to 600.000 but that the exact number of victims in the Jasenovac concentration camp could never be accurately determined. Nikola Nikolić, a former inmate at Jasenovac, and his son Sergij did research in 1947 in Donja Gradina and found 248 clearly visible mass graves whose dimensions were 60-80 m long, 6 m wide, and 4 m deep. On the right bank of the Sava River, Nikolić discovered two wagons full of ashes, burned skulls and vertebrae that had been thrown away there after the corpses were burned at Donja Gradina. During the first excavations, 17 human skulls were found in one square meter. Skulls were fractured and broken up, which indicates that the victims were killed with a dull-hard object (mallet). The limb bones were also broken. This is because the graves were rolled over with heavy equipment. At the second excavation, boiled bones were found, and in the third one burned remains of the victims. Before 1964, historiography had not used the results of anthropological research. Anthropological research began with probe excavations on the 9th and was finished on April 17, 1964. Overall, 100 graves were probed with 130 boreholes. This research identified three types of graves in Donja Gradina: graves of people murdered in a standing position, graves where corpses had been transported for burial and graves containing the boiled bones of the victims, who had been boiled in iron caldrons in Donja Gradina, together with burned bones. These types of graves demonstrate that there were mass murders in Donja Gradina, that Ustashas made soap out of humans, and that the posthumous remains were excavated and burned, and, moreover, that living people were set on fire. Researchers defined the number of skeletons per cubic meter in the mass graves of Donja Gradina: 17-25 skeleton/m³. Remains of the victims in most cases lay in disarray, one over the other, intertwined with each other in different positions and levels. They lay in the way they had fallen into the pit. All the circumstances indicate that they were killed from the edge of the grave. Advanced research of excavated skeletons revealed different types of injuries. Usually, these were depressions on the skull at the back or on the temples. Firearm murders were rare in this area. In several excavations of the surface, completely softened bones were extracted. The conclusion of anthropologists is that these bones were boiled. Evidence of this was steel cauldrons (12 of them) that were found after the liberation of Jasenovac. In these cauldrons, traces of several chemicals and soda were found.

"Upon arrival, the children were exhausted and virtually naked. Their appearance was skeletal, especially those transported from Stara Gradiška. Many had swollen bellies due to malnourishment, thin pale faces, and teeth falling out. Almost all were suffering from severe diarrhea, and most had multiple diseases. @AmeriKa1050 No, you're lying! Yours quotation of Dobrica Ćosić is not an original quotation, it is extracted from the context, important sentences were deliberately left out. The quotation begins with the word "slavery", it is said that the truth is under slavery and occupation deadly. The quote does not say that the Serbs are lying, but when people find themselves in a difficult situation, in this case, under the occupation, they are lying to survive. The quotation states that everyone is lying - the invaders, traitors, freedom fighters. The word Serb does not appear either in singular or in plural, neither does it even say "Serbian." It is said that it is a "lie under occupation". Giving inaccurate, incomplete quotes, it has become ridiculous and comical. The fact is that you did not read the novel "Deobe", even the page containing that "quote", the situation becomes even more funny! Here you should ask who spreads misinformation, lies and inaccurate quotes, Serbs or some other ... a quote: "Slavery it is. Deadly truths. That's why they yell and whisper lies. Everybody and everyone. The occupier is lying, lying fighters for freedom. We lie to deceive ourselves to console the other. We lie from compassion, we lie to be not afraid, to encourage, to hide our own and others' misery. We lie from love and humanity, we lie for honesty. We are lying for freedom. Lying is the sight of our patriotism and the confirmation of our innate intelligence. We are lying creatively, imaginatively, inventively. For this lie under occupation, and a common idiot has more imagination than many romances. A lie is necessary: biological, psychological, national, political. Belgrade in these days - it's an apocalypse of lies. " "Ropstvo to je. Smrtonosne su istine. Zato se i viču i šapuću laži. Svima i svakome. Dobrica was a regime man in 1961. Whatever Ćosić wrote, you need to know the context, you must , read the whole book from the beginning to the end and understand it completely, and then interpret it. Dobrica Cosic did not say that, but one of the characters he created in the novel. The storyteller and writer are not the same person, it is the basis of any interpretation of literature, but those who abuse literature do not try it. It is easier to treat one serious novel as if it were a text from a tabloid. Who is lying ....

Thank you for bringing attention to this, but still the main points are omitted. Overwhelmingly the largest portion of victims were SERBS, estimated around 700,000. For centuries, and to this day, Croatia has been under complete control by the Vatican as well as Germany. The reason why this genocide of Orthodox Christian Serbs has been covered up is because it is the Vatican that was behind it. Also Tito was allegedly Croatian, although his true identity is a mystery to this day. Tito’s job was to divide the western Balkans, or the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, formerly the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenians (of which the Serbs were by far the vast majority, by population and by land) into even smaller regions and artificial “nationalities” - Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Vojvodina - all of which are Serbs. He set up the territory for the divide and conquer play that was executed in the 90s, where the remaining 100s of thousands of Serbs were forced to flee Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, and God knows how many were killed, only to be proclaimed a “genocidal people” by the international community and then bombed with depleted uranium by NATO. Today, the vast majority of Serbs that make up the population of Montenegro are being persecuted and the Orthodox Church is under attack yet again. When will the world wake up to the centuries long genocide of the Serbs that has been taking place in the Balkans - the Helm, or Hum, which is the real name of the peninsula - the birthplace of European civilization since over 7500+ years ago?

And the verses "In Caplja's slaughter, a lot of Serbs Neretva wore. / Oj, Neretvo, running down a side, carrying the Serbs in the Blue Adriatic "describe mass Ustasha crimes around Capljina and beyond, in the Neretva valley, and in Herzegovina in June 1941. This could be written about the crimes, but it is enough to mention the testimony of Mostar's Bishop Alojzij Mišić: "People were caught by the beasts. The clown, the killer - live in the sink of the pitcher. Women, mothers with children, grown-up girls, children's females and men were thrown into the pits ... In Ljubinje, 700 shizmatics were thrown into one pit alone. From Mostar and Capljina, the railway transported six full wagons of women, mother and girls, children under the age of 10 to the Šurmanci station, where they were taken out, taken to the hills, live mothers with children thrown into deep propunte. In the villages of the Klepci parish, 3700 chismatics were killed. Poor, they were quiet.

Home guards (domobrani), Ustashas, Chetniks, Ljoticevci, Muslim fascist units and collaborationist civilians as mentioned in "Podcast Velebit" from croatien historian who was guest a few years ago. They are killed. Of the 275,000 Ustashas alone, according to "Podcast Velebit" TV and Radio show, less than 3% died in Bleiburg. Neither the British, nor the Americans, nor the Russians bombed any city in Croatia as a form of punishment. They were in Germany and Austria. That's a big difference. Croatia avoided all the consequences of the war! It's known to a large number of people around the world. There is nothing to discuss about it because these are old facts. No one has denied them, not even Tudjman, Stipe Mesic or today's politicians and historians. All sources of information are Croatian and details can be found at the University of History in Zagreb.

The documentary narrator is completly biased and supporter of the ustashe, he only thinks in 2 dimension, he doesnt acknowledge the people killed in thier homes rather than in jasenovac, blames the chetniks for the atrocities of the ustashe on april 15th, the information is super mega cherry picked and out of context. Can you imagine one hundred thousand adults and children dressed as SS and Hitlerjugend members, shouting: Sieg Heil and singing about the glory of Auschwitz? Impossible? Very possible. That’s exactly what happens in Croatia, the very first completely resurrected Nazi state ever. Or can you imagine German chancellor and President singing songs in the glory of Auschwitz, like Croatian president Grabar Kitarović did in Knin, the former capital of the Republic of Srpska Krajina? Can you imagine Germany celebrate the day when Hitler announced that they were successful in the Final solution of the Jewish question while the highest EU, US, NATO representatives clap and salute? Since Croatia is an EU member, then, ipso facto, it’s EU that glorifies Nazism, death camps, Jasenovac and Gradiška Stara, murdering of Serbs, Jews and Roma people. This is one of the greatest evergreen hits by neo Ustashi ‘musician’ Thompson. Lyrics translation: Jasenovac and Stara Gradiska That’s the house of Maks’ butchers. There was a slaughterhouse in Chaplyina Neretva carried away many Serbs. Hey, Neretva, flow downhill, Carry Serbs into the blue Adriatic. Through Imotski trucks rush Driving black uniforms of Jure Francetic I am Ustasha and so was my father, Father left craft to his son. Who could imagine last year That Partisans would celebrate Christmas. Who said, his father f*** him That Black Legion is not coming back. Jasenovac and Stara Gradishka That’s the house of Maks’ butchers. A shining star above Metkovich; Send our greetings to Ante Pavelich. Hear the monstrous songs here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHK3n618qb13Z6M You can hear the intro where the obscure ‘musician’ says, following images of Jasenovac that the above song was sung by their grandfathers and have been proud of it… Very ‘European”! This is Jasenovac: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5-mcphjqbx4aNU Today’s Independent State of Croatia has the same as NAZI Independent State of Croatia /1941 - 1945/: Name, Flag, National Emblem, National Anthem, Currency, Uniforms (Nazi black shirts), Pure-blooded police, Nazi terminology of WWII, State-sponsored atrocities toward Serbian civilians are the same. The Croatian Nazism has been tolerated for decades! The following video clearly shows the Neo-Nazi Croatian singer’s fans sporting Nazi symbols. Throughout the performance, a giant flag bearing an inscription “Imotski HR U” can be seen. Imotski is the name of a WWII-era Nazi stronghold, while HR stands for “Hrvatska” (literally Croatia). However, the last part is the most sinister one. The “U” stands for “Ustasha”, who are known for unimaginable cruelty while killing Serb, Jewish and Roma civilians. They were probably the cruellest element of both Serbocide and Holocaust. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2aZgKipg9N4fLc Despite Krajina being declared a “UN Protected Area”, murderous attack on the Krajina Serbs by Tudjman’s troops did not result in UN-imposed economic sanctions or the bombing of Croatia by NATO. This is hardly surprising, since the US government under Bill Clinton, and the German government under Chancellor Helmut Kohl, were busy funding, arming, training and directing Tudjman’s neo-Ustashe Croat army against the Krajina Serbs. Here is a quote from the editorial in “Defense & Foreign Affairs Strategic Policy” magazine Volume 23, No.4 (May 5,1995), concerning the article entitled “Croatia Hits UN, Serb areas” [“Operation Flash”] by ISSA president, Gregory Copley: “It was clear that Croatia wanted all foreign observers out of the way so that it could undertake a further campaign of ethnic cleansing against their own countrymen of Serbian origin. We use the words “ethnic cleansing” because the phrase and the policy was invented by the Croatians themselves. In any event, the war resumed in April in Croatia [Krajina]. The Croats, we know from independent UN and other testimony took men, women and children from the Serb area which they conquered [Western Slavonija] and executed about 1,000 of them. Croatian troops were seen holding the severed heads of women and children”. This is a photo of three-year-old Serbian boy who was shot dead while hiding in the cellar at 72 Nikola Demonja Street, Vukovar, Croatia. His mother and father, Sladjana and Miroslav Cecavac, were also brutally killed by Tudjman’s neo-Ustashe Nazi troops. This 3-year-old Serbian child was labelled a “Serbian aggressor” by Tudjman’s HDZ neo-Ustashe Croatian government and the Western corporate-controlled media. In order to stop his so-called ”aggression”, the so-called ”brave” Croatian neo-Ustashe soldiers put a bullet in the back of his head, which exited from the front of his skull. In the war in Croatia and Bosnia, by mid-1994, 7,000 Serbian children were killed: twice as many as Croatian and Muslim children combined. scontent.fbeg1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/409738_4292676316240_587628281_n.jpg?_nc_cat=109&_nc_oc=AQnXXNEfOLQiNCzYujuoq9j7QsMvY2F5VLNLBlvzzlr4kYBOWeZoHu7gNycik84A__E&_nc_ht=scontent.fbeg1-1.fna&oh=c2513f0d7384322ccc825d73414e68b7&oe=5DD50BCF In the meantime, in the settlement of Gornja Vežica in Rijeka, on 08/08/2019, the following invitation (rather an annunciation) were written in two locations: “In the spring when the willow blooms, we will make peppers from the Serbs” with the unavoidable letters “U” and “Ustaše Vežica” Graffiti “Kill a Serb” and ”(Hang) Serbs on the Willows” were also spotted at the entrance to the municipality of Ervenik, as well as “NDH” (Acronym of the WW II Independent State of Croatia monster state) reports the News Portal. In addition, the signboard at the entrance to Ervenik was damaged by the Ustasha ‘U’ graphiti. mightynose.wordpress.com/2017/08/11/modern-day-croatia-is-a-carbon-copy-of-the-ww-2-monstrous-independent-state-of-croatia-2/?fbclid=IwAR0OeEyw_-JsbN0l_BCmRFsXrhF3fL-YJwsa5wI6aOj80AJVq4lUEnYMsK8

Ustasha crime in August 1941. and their descendants in 1992 in the village of Prebilovci is one of the most shameful events in human history. About 600 inhabitants of the village Prebilovci were killed by throwing live children and their mothers into the Golubinka pit near Šurmanci. In the same month more than 200 people from this village were killed, which before the Second World War had about a thousand inhabitants. In Prebilovci, 52 families were completely destroyed. Only 172 inhabitants of Prebilovci survived the tragedy. On 4 August 1991. before the beginning of the war, Serbs from Prebilovci and other parts of Herzegovina buried about 4,000 gathered bones of their ancestors taken out of the paved pits in the crypt of the memorial church in Prebilovci. Prebilovci were also destroyed in the last war in 1992. True, the people fled and escaped, but during the 1992 offensive "Čagalj", which today is celebrated as the "Croatian Dawn" of Croatian Herzegovina, the forces of the Republic of Croatia, the HVO and the HOS under the command of General Janko Bobetka committed genocidal ethnic cleansing of the Serbs in this area. They killed a large number of civilians and destroyed all Serbian houses. They also destroyed churches, monasteries, monuments, and other objects. In the Prebilovci itself, the village cemetery was also destroyed. The bodys of the deceased's was taken from the tombs to be burnd or blown up. The memorial church and bones of victims from 1941 were mined by explosive. Mining was done three times. The explosion was so strong that the bones and teeth were embedded in the foundation stone of the church. Stone and bricks flew more than 150 meters. After the mining, the place where the Church was located is aligned. The terrain is cleared and the crypt is filled with sand and gravel. A garbage dump was built there (removed in 2002). After the research, conducted in 2007/08, about 4% of brittle bones were found in the ruins of the temple, of about 4,000 victims. It was easy for them to commit a criminal job in an abandoned village. Only Draginja Medić left (64 years). She was one of the four girls who survived the massacre in 1941. She refused to leave Prebilovce. She suffered martyrdom from the grandchildren of whom she escaped in 1941. Her grave is not yet known. The fate of Prebilovci in the Second World War was experienced only by the village of Lidice in the Czech Republic. The Japanese diary The Asahi Shimbun (Tokyo) classified this village among the four most suffer villages in World War II at the planet's level. During the last war, over 50,000 people were expelled by the Croatian army from that part of the Neretva Valley. Today in the Neretva valley, less than 10,000 Serbs live on the left bank. It can be said that these events in 1992 in the village of Prebilovci are actually: "War against the dead". The children's earthly remains were among the dead. The Croat and Bosnian-Herzegovinian, as well as the Hague Prosecution, never prosecuted the Cagalj criminal operation as well as other numerous crimes against the Serb people in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s, although there is extensive documentation about it.

@Kenny Sr. Herman Neubauer - a man of the highest Hitler 's trust in the Balkans, published a book - "A Special Task in Southeast 1940 - 1945", published in German in 1956. One of the most important Neubacher's theses is that Germany in the Balkans occupied only Serbia and Greece: all the rest were German allies. Nejbacher, in the book, lists the Ustasha recipe for solving the Serbian question: one-third of Serbs in the NDH were to be killed, one-third were to be expelled, and one-third were to be converted to Roman Catholicism! Although the Ustashas bragged that they killed a million Serbs, this number is about 750,000 people. He called it all the Croatian vengeance war on the destruction of Orthodox Serbs. Everything was reminiscent of medieval religious wars.

@Kenny Sr. The book Magnum Crimen (Great Crime) is a must read for anyone who wants to delve into the tragic, horrifying, largely unknown, and unbelievable saga of the genocide of Serbian Orthodox Christians, Jews, and Gypsies in the Nazi-puppet "Independent State of Croatia" at the hands of the Croatian Ustashe, the Croatian Catholic Church, and the Vatican during WWII. Viktor Novak was a Catholic priest and academic who painstakingly investigated this unprecedented genocide and uncovered the Vatican's role in preparing, organizing Catholic clergy during WWII and hiding Catholic clergy after 1945 ("ratlines"). For decades, this unresolved genocide has been largely suppressed (for obvious reasons to prevent embarrassment from and exposure of the Vatican's crimes) and is the primary cause for instability in the Balkans to this very day. Sadly, Novak's book was largely inaccessible to many due to it being composed in the Serbo-Croatian language. However, the book has recently been translated in English for the benefit of a wider audience. It goes into great detail of how the Vatican and Croatian "intellectuals" prepared for the genocide decades before WWII and then, when the moment was right, executed one of the most brutal genocides in history by slaughtering hundreds of thousands of Serbians Orthodox Christians, forcing the conversion of hundreds of thousands more to Roman Catholicism, and murdering tens of thousands of Jews and Gypsies in the "Independent State of Croatia" which included today's Croatia, Bosnia, and a large chunk of Serbia that went all the way to Belgrade. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnum_Crimen

Tito did not "hush this up". I grew up in socialist Slovenia, and we ALL knew about Jasenovac. Why it wasn't well known internationally is anybody's guess, but it wasn't Tito's fault. Was he supposed to advertise it internationally?? Also, majority of the Ustashe (60-70.000 or so) WERE killed after the war (within Slovenia). Just the leaders and a few thousand others managed to escape. Many with the help of Vatican. But it's true that not much was spoken about it in Yugoslavia, like the author says - to prevent ethnic conflicts over history. BTW, not very cool to talk of Ustashe as "The Croats". Ustashe were a fringe terrorist movement put in power by Nazis and they never had the support of majority of Croats, and I say that as a Slovenian.

Tito and communist regime did hush it up. Almost no perpetrators of these crimes were brought to justice or processed. The person who participated in the commission of documenting the crimes and victim numbers of just Jasenovac said that they were stopped during the process of documenting victims and told to sign a paper with 700,000 victims as the final number, even though many in the commission did not agree with this and wanted to finish the process. The news stations and newspapers to which he spoke to about what’s going on behind the scenes were ordered not to run the articles or broadcast. It was so bad that he eventually had to leave the country and spoke of all of this years and years later. It was definitely hushed up.

We had to leave everything behind us early in the morning, it was still dark outside. We had to flee for our lives as they were on the way to Serbian villages. Croats were going from village to village, house to house, killing those who stayed, robbing their houses and then burning them. I went back to visit and to this day there are still smashed and burnt houses. While there I was discriminated at shops and restaurants for speaking Serbian. I have lived in the west for long and noone ever had a problem with me speaking Serbian with a family member in public or perhaps mispronouncing something in English. I also know people whose family members were murdered by Croats in front of them . They all have their lived experiences that are shocking. Serbians are still discriminated in Croatia to this day, for example tourists with Serbian car registrations get their cars smashed. Serbs never occupied anyone's area like you say as they have lived there for thousand plus years and the operation is a genocide and not a legitimate operation. It is legitimate only to the sick minds including those that support you. Burning civilian homes, murdering the old people in their homes and bombing kids can never be legitimate. I have given you my answer and I don't need more of your explanations, views, opinions. I have seen it with my eyes and don't need your input on it. I therefore ask that you don't message me any further about the crimes your country and army committed against my family and the rest of the Serbian population in Krajina.

The famous Italian writer Curzio Malaparte in his book "Kaputt" reports on his visit to Ante Pavelic, the head of the Independent State of Croatia, whose official title was "Poglavnik": "The Croatian people", said Ante Pavelic, "wish to be ruled with goodness and justice. And I am here to provide them." While he spoke, I gazed at a wicker basket on the Poglavnik`s desk. The lid was raised and the basket seemed to be filled with mussels, or shelled oysters - as they are occasionally displayed in the window of Fortnum and Nason in Piccadilly in London. Casertano looked at me and winked, "Would you like a nice oyster stew?" "Are they Dalmatian oysters?" I asked the Poglavnik. Ante Pavelic removed the lid from the basket and revealed the mussels, that slimy and jelly-like mass, and he said smilling, with that tired good-natured smile of his, "It is a present from my loyal Ustashis. Forty pounds of human eyes." (Quoted from page 266 of "Kaputt" E. P. Dutton & Co., Inc., New York, 1946) Online book "Genocide in Croatia" www.spirituallysmart.com/genocide_in_croatia.pdf

Gideon Greif instead of writing the truth (also terrible) inflates the numbers, even today when we know the name of almost every person killed and when respected historians have agreed that the number of people killed in Jasenovac was between 80 and 100,000. Is he accusing late Slavko Goldstein, a Jew who dedicated a large part of his life to uncovering the truth about Jasenovac, where many members of his family were killed? The author does not tell the truth about anything else, for example about Pavelić's apprenticeship with Hitler himself (whom he met several times in his life).. Pavelić started out as an Italian-fascist man. Gideon Greif lies that Tito was hiding crimes, on the contrary. Over 1,200 books and countless articles have been published about Jasenovs itself. Greif does not say that Croatia had the strongest anti-fascism in Europe (R.Churchil: "Croatia is the European anti-fascist miracle of WW2"). He probably doesn't know that the Jewish Battalion, the first Jewish unit 2000 years after Masada, was founded in Croatia as part of the Partisan Movement! He does not say that the Ustaše-Quislings killed more Croats than all the others put together, nor that Hitler himself stopped the genocide of the Serbs in the summer of 1942 to prevent them joyning guerila. How can such ignoramuses appear who write from their little brains instead of true researchers writting about it?

Jasenovac extermination camp was the most cruel in the world! The biggest extermination camp for children! Prisoners were primarily murdered manually with the use of blunt objects such as knives, hammers and axes. Jasenovac was a death camp in Croatia for Serbs, Jews, Roma and anti-Nazi Croats set up and operated by the ustasha regime of the Nazi-allied Independent State of Croatia (NDH) during the Second World War. This genocide and extermination was the basis for the formation of the Croatian state. The Independent State of Croatia was the only state that had special camps for children - Sisak, Jasenovac, Jastrebarsko, Stara Gradiška and Metajna on Pag. No one were punished for this.It was kept as a secret more than 75 years because of the role of Vatican but also the ones who were for decades guardians of this horrible secret and the carst pits. Professor Dr. Gideon Greif, chief researcher at the Holocaust Institute Shem Olam in Israel, said that at least 800,000 Serbs and about 40,000 Jews had been killed in Jasenovac in the most brutal manner. There were 57 different ways of killing the victims. It's always important, now more than ever, that we’re reminded how humanity can end up in a dark place if people start to apply the criteria of race, religion, and gender discrimination.

POLITICALLY DEAD ... the sons and grandsons of communists and Tito's partisans are in power in Croatia. .. in addition to the large number of Croats who were liquidated in Jasenovac after the war by the communist liquidation squads, there are also the bones of communists and rebels during the Independent State of Croatia ... according to all the documentation so far, they do not exceed the number of 2000*

They stuff him with rocks side the Priestly clothes he was wearing. They throw him in the ocean, hoping he will never be found. The next day early in, the fisherman found him floating. The two murderers were not from the same town; one of them was Dani Pavlovic member of the county communist party end PereCurco one lived in Nin, the other Zaton. All Nazi death camps of WW2 were horrible in their own right. But the Ustase regime run Jasenovac of Croatia took it all to a whole new level. In most Nazi German death camps, the deaths are at least quick. But in Ustase run camps, the methods are brutal, gruesome and barbaric. There were beheadings, and most of all, the camp guards had this knife on their wrists which were used to slit the victims throats and let them bleed to death.

For far too long this incredibly terrible subject has been repressed by Croatian and Yugoslav authorities since the time of Tito. To this day they like to pretend it didn't happen, or was far less serious than the evidence shows. This would be like the Germans suppressing all evidence of Auschwitz, Treblinka, and the other Nazi camps of the Holocaust. History cannot be surpressed and the truth will come out eventually.

You said Tito was the reason but we all know that’s not true (regarding Yugoslavia may be). Croatia is a Vatican product and powerful Vatican/austrohungarians have comited and organised the crimes, also later helped hide criminals from Jesuit and Franciscan order that conducted the same. Tito was catholic and Austrohungarian soldier during WW1. We know the truth I believe you do to. Communists and Ustashi had/have the same agenda and were/are financed from same sources. No one here is blaming regular people. I personally have many good Croatian friends some of which ancestors were Ustashe but they never sided with that ideology neither they support it. Also meet Germans whoes ancestors were Nazi soldiers in the Balkans so was interesting to hearing their stories about them but also they never supported that ideology and are just regular working people. Here no one is blaming the whole nation, here is the regimes who usually brainwash certain groups to made horrors like this. Discovering Jasenovac and its crimes with what was happening there is important because everyone knows for the Auschwitz, everyone heard from the more recent war crimes in ex Yugoslavia which had at least 20X times less victim numbers, but Jasenovac that was a real horror machine with huge amount of victims was sided in history for the reason of some communist ideology and "brotherhood and unity" relations. In my opinion those placing things aside actually made part of the stuff happen in 90s.

Todays Croats same gene as they ware 100 years ago, and same goes to Serbs. Evolution needs at least 1000 years. So dont talk in the name of Serbs, bcs u are not Serb, u are serbian. Thank you.

@@zoranlakic85 maybe you should re-read what you wrote and write again, but properly. You sound very chaotic

@@mariv9815 No need to rewrite and re-read. All is rather clear for all parties involved. Unless there are some technical issues.. like below avg IQ or something.
