Cheetahs are the only, "big cats," that can purr, (like all the small cats, such as domestic, or, "house cats," lynx, cerval, bobcats, and a few others,) and they do it for all the usual feline reasons. Other big cats like lions, tigers, jaguars, and leopards aren't able to purr because they have a flexible larynx bone. Of course, they make many other noises lol clearly. Most members of the, "Felidae," and, "Felide," (or, "Felines," colloquially,) species are awesome creatures, perfect, Apex predators, but Cheetahs are just absolutely magnificent.

I like steve and respect him lots but I’m against zoos or captivity of wild animals.

some of the zoos (especially Singapore Zoo) are conserving and breeding them so they do not go extinct actually.
