Tool Assisted Speedruns, they use scripts and little glitches to race against the clock much faster than other speedruns so they are kinda in a category of their own

the heck happened at 52ish minutes? they were selecting hassle in the castle and ended up in defeato burrito, only to then select deafeato burrito after completing it and end up in hassle in the castle.

For the record, pressing left/right in the window after selecting a level but before it starts loading allows you to switch which level you enter. Just done for fun here.

Well I would not say hack because essentially TAS's are basically playthroughs of games assuming a person had inhuman reflexes and an in-depth understanding of the game mechanics. Game hacking implies the coding that makes up the game is modified and this did not (or should not) have happened here.
