Croc: Legend of the Gobbos - Intro FullHD 1080p60

This is probably the highest quality Intro you'll ever see of that game. Intro was recorded from the Direct3D PC version in 1080p 60 FPS (however the game internally caps out at 30 FPS), sounds were taken from an extracted PS One version.
Surprisingly enough the PC videos and animations run almost 1/4 times faster than the original PS One ones so I had to adjust the video speed a little bit here to fit the higher quality PS One sounds.

It's weird seeing it as an adult having played it as a 5 year old. Back then the game was a bit scary in some ways, I remember the first boss was impossible for me until I just went for it. I got far but didn't quite get further than the dark castle levels, which creeped me out even more! Now I can appreciate how cute the creatures are and the game itself, though there's still a weird 5 year old "AH HARD SCARY GAME" in me when I hear the music and effects. It'd be fun to try it again and see if I can finally complete it, having been the very first PS1 and game overall I owned!

My first Croc game was Croc 2 for Gameboy Color I still have it too seriously why didn't Croc get as popular it's a welcome change of pace to see Crocodiles not portrayed as villains or people eaters. Croc deserves better than this he needs more of his games and more love.

My dad bought a copy of this for the SEGA Saturn. The freaking copy was bad; it didn't show the entire body of the characters, and it was hard to do any of the boss battles because of that reason.

I remember playing this game for the first time on Sony PS1 when I was seven years old. As a kid I couldn't pass it because I thought I found it too hard but I eventually beat it on Sony PS2 at age fourteen in summer 2004. It was released in late 1997 for Sony PS1, Sega Saturn and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by a British video game developer Argonaut Games PLC (sadly they went out of business in autumn 2004 due to their liquidation) and published by Fox Interactive (also sadly it went defunct in 2006 when it was sold to the French company Vivendi by 20th Century Fox in spring 2003). Anyway it's a good game and I always loved that game. It's one of my favourite PS1 games of all time. Its music is kinda catchy and its sound effects sound atmospheric but its controls are kinda a bit awkward and sometimes camera can be confusing and frustrating.
