I bought this tablet for my daughter and she dropped it and cracked the screen. I ordered the parts on eBay even the glue that you recommended E-8000 ordered a repair kit for phones and tablets wish me luck. The closest thing to me repairing stuff or doing anything technical is wiring guitars thank you for the video I'm actually looking forward to giving this a try. The reason I want to fix it it's for the fun of fixing it and to see if I can do it but the tablet is pretty fast.

I got Z380M screen to replace broken; connected on Z380C(my tablet): screen shows perfect, touch response none//any way to fix that, reason?=different glass; thanks

Zhe Z380M and Z380C have different touch digitizers, you will have to buy a Z380C screen with touch

do you you know where the connection for the backlight is? the backlight seems to be out. Its not the whole video, just the backlight. I know that the thick cable in the middle (the one with the yellow tape) in the video is for the screen, but its not the screen that is out, just the backlight. Thanks

Should be at the back under the foil. But I don't have any tablet or lcd here to check

How about if the home button and the other button dont work the only button that works for me is the back button also the notifications dont appear on the top of the screen someone pls reply and help

Could be many reasons. Faulty touch, software problem, bad flex cable connection...

Hi. Yes, it's possible. Is your battery charged? Sometimes the Asus models have battery issues and you have to leave them for a long time on the charger. Check all cables. Try with old lcd...if you can. Also a faulty part can be the issue. Good luck

I think it is hard to tell only from your comment but I suggest you to re-check everything ;)) maybe you forgot to connect something? Maybe battery is dead? Maybe you damaged something while disassembling.
