I use worsted weight yarn. Any worsted weight yarn works. Keep in mind they are different thicknesses so your item might turn out smaller or bigger depending on the yarn.

Loved this video, had a question on one part. Once you finish the boob and want to attach them how do you know how long to cut the end of the yarn so you have enough to sew it all the way around ?

I usually wrap my yarn around the boob a couple times to make a long enough tail but sometimes I leave even longer piece just in case.

I know this video is three years old but what do you mean when you say go into the first stitch? Like the one you just put the slip stitch through? I've had to start the boob part over probably about 15 times..i can't seem to get the correct amount of stitches at the end of each round

Hello, I noticed in your video that you have a water bottle inside the cozy, is this cozy only meant to fit water bottles and/or tall slim aluminum cans only? The reason I ask is because I just finished making the cozy base and wanted to see how it would fit a regular standard size soda and aluminum beer can, the base of the cozy was taller than the top lip of the beer can. I finished the base with exactly 18 rounds as you stated in the video but the length of the base is too long for the standard size can of beer. I think that if I were to unravel 3 or 4 rounds of the base it would fit the soda can perfectly but if I were to unravel 3 or 4 rounds of the stitches would it make a difference on how the boobs are going to fit and look on a regular size can of soda or beer? By the way, I did use a G size hook for the base and I did not crochet my stitches loosely, I actually crocheted my stitches tighter than usual just so that I made sure the base would fit the standard size of beer or soda can but the height/length of the base I crocheted goes 1/4 inch over the lip of the soda can and I don’t want that because no one wants yarn in their mouth. So I just want to know if I should take out some of those rounds to make the cozy fit the can? Thank you!

It actually fits a lot of different containers, if for a slim can, maybe make 2 or so less stitches.

@@Kittyskreationsboutique thanks for your response Kitty. My cozy base came out so long in height that what I’m saying is that it actually already fits a water bottle and a taller slim aluminum can. I’m wanting the base of the cozy to fit shorter in height/length to be able to fit a regular soda or beer can but this base goes over the lip of the can. So what I’m wanting to know is if I take off or unravel 2 or 3 rounds of the base so that it fits a regular size can of soda or beer can, will it affect the look or the location where I put the breasts? Or should I just make it to fit as best as I can.

This cozy does fit a regular soda can. But if you want it a little shorter you can decrease a couple rows. It might make the boobs look too much in the center of the “body”. I haven’t tried to make it shorter, so I really couldn’t tell you how it would look.

I love these cozies. I've made 3 of them. They're not perfect but I think they turned out pretty good. 1st one has same bikini top as yours. For the 2nd one I made a sunflower bikini top. The 3rd one doesn't have a bikini top lol lol .

I love the boobie cozy and I've been making them for a lil while. But I'm having problems with the nipples. I cant get them to stick out like you do. I'm using Red Heart Super Saver and a 2.5 chrochet hook. The smallest one I have. W hf at am I doing wrong? Please help me

Maybe it's the yarn? I don't see why you should have any issues. Is the nipple sticking out the correct way? I think my hook is also bigger its an F 3.75 mm hook. Hope this helps

I did one additional round of SC with a decrease every 6 stitches. It turned out perfect! I'm working on the coozy now with a smaller hook. I'll update my progress. This is for my father in law for Christmas. He is definitely not going to be expecting this! 🤣😂 Thank you!!! 💜
