You should've started with the size of your hook. That's really important.

Thank you so much!! I am using Ricorumi cotton DK yarn here, its great for small projects like this :) If you would like to make it bigger you can use a chunkier yarn and larger hook size to scale it up 💛🌻

Why dont you just slow down the speed of the video. Go to top right hand corner of the video press the three dots you will get A small list , choose the option to change the speed to .75 or .50 then you may be able to follow the instructions
