Getting frustrated. Says you have a free written pattern in Raveley! Pressing that link takes to YT. Using link for free WRiTTEN patt! In your description underneath vid in YT takes one straight back to YT! All roads lead back to YT! I could not find a single link to the slightest “free written crochet pattern for your Adidas shoes”!! Can you please tell me where else to find the patt? May just be me- but I’ve messed around a good 30 mins to find ZERO! Love your vids; Love your stuff; Do not love I can NOT find WRITTEN PATT!! Ty in advance! You have the best cro shoes ever- but if I will encounter same problem. ….ty.

On 24:09 I think you did three more rows and not four because if you did four you would end up behind the shoe and not in front. Literally was driving myself crazy over this

Thanks Alicia! You have a new fan,because I have been so frustrated and aggravated trying to pin down this ( and other great supposedly "free" crochet patterns) on various sites only to discover they actually charge for the PDF or drag you through sites that lead nowhere or lock up your phone trying to claim it has a virus.Or worse of all ,the one you really like is no longer a valid link...I am coming here first from now on,and I learn better seeing it being done anyway,in spite if being an advanced crocheter for over 40 years (self taught)! You are clear and easy to follow,and on my list of favorite channels!

Before adding the 7 DC in the last chain, I would make a loop ➰ with the tail & place it over the chain. THEN, I would do the 7 DC. That way, you can pull the hole shut. After that, finish the second half of the first round, crocheting over the remaining tail as you go. It gives the sole a more professional look, and saves time otherwise wasted having to bury your loose ends. I've been doing this for years.

Is this pattern row #7 written correctly? It merely says ch2; BPdctog. No mention of # of togs- “BP__dctog” or what to do w/the plain dc. My first attempt (w/o consulting ur great vid!). I assumed we were to tog both the stand alone dc & the dctog stitch! There’s NO mention of what to do w/the plain dc itself. Sorry if I missed a patt revision/correction! Then once I watched vid- I assume u meant to write: dc next dc; BPdctog next Dc2tog. Am I correct? Don’t mean to be a pain! Just love your shoe patts!!

Hey Phyllis..i had a bit of an issue with this also. I kept going into the wrong space and getting my hook tangled lol I got the hang of it .. I notice if you keep a snug grip very close to your stitch its easier to control placement and tension. Its worth the effort. They turn out great!

Thats so awesome! I'm so glad it turned out great!. I went thru 3 styles of #3 mm hooks, while creating this pattern. The hook I use in the video is my favorite. It went thru the stitches like butter. It is a super cheap ergonomic hook I bought in a set off of amazon. My Susan Bate would catch on the yarn. Or very difficult to get thru the stitch.

This is a really good pattern but you did make mistakes when making the colored flap in back, you stated to chain 11 but must chain 12 and also you said you have to make “3” treble crochets but you only made two... I thought I was losing my mind but took a few tries for me to figure it out. Other than that love the pattern

Is there a written pattern for these
@lizsager95775 жыл бұрын
This video is good. My tip secret comes in the round using the back loops only. This is where the edge stands up. I have a problem with holes in my projects. This tip helps the turn standup on it's own and there are gaping holes with the turn. When i go I behind the front loop i grab the stitch that is to the left on the back side. This makes the turn sturdy and covers the gaping holes.😁
@LittlejohnsYarn5 жыл бұрын
Liz that is an awesome tip. I'm definitely going to try it 🙂

I hate those holes as well. I'm certainly going to try this and hopefully it works for me only because I've gotten so spoiled, not to mention, I'm an Ole' gal now and my eyes ain't what they used to be. I used to be able to read patterns with no problems whatsoever, now, ever since I've been crocheting from the video tutorials, I have the biggest situation reading a pattern. I'm a 60 yr old Grammy that has been crocheting for most of my life and (since I was 7) like I said, the video tutorials have made me out to be the best of the best in my family lol lol..... so, I'm gonna try to do what u instructed and see if it works for me!... Thanks for the info on gaping holes in a project.

Whoa…Toe Row 7: 1st: your BPdctog st: why are we doing just the post of the dc2tog-why NOT the post of the stand alone dc as well? Color me confused! As another note- it would be helpful, esp for less exp crocheters, if you’d write it as dc2tog, dc7tog, or how every many togs!! W/your abbrev of solely dctog or BPdctog it’s vague as to how many sts to tog! Had to keep referring back to vid. Just a helpful suggestion to help maybe? Love the patterns of all the baby shoes you have! Great content. Great channel. Great work!

It was a left hand challenge, but I got it! However, I found it a lesson not completed. How does the sides come together? Weaving in ends or sewing it up, or is this where the string to tie it up come into play? I used Bernet baby yarn and 3mm hook, and this show definitely is more 6 to 9 months rather than 0 to 3 months. Overall keep up the good work!
