🧶Crochet Afro American Flag | Beginner Friendly | Quick & Easy

🚩🏴In this video I will show you how to crochet an Afro African Parade Flag. This pattern is quick and easy. This crochet pattern is beginner friendly, but you will at least know how to crochet and the terms associated with crochet to complete this project.
Abbreviations used:
Ch = chain
DBC = double crochet
st/sts = stitch / stitches
SC = single crochet

Pattern:
Chain 17
Row 1 - DBC in 2nd chain from the loop
DBC in next 13 sts
DBC in last st, changing to color #2 (black) in last DBC
Ch 2; Turn
Row 2 - DBC in next 14sts, changing to color #1 (red) in last DBC
Ch 2; Turn
Row 3 - DBC in next 14sts, changing to color #2 (black) in last DBC
Ch 2; Turn
Row 4 - DBC in next 7 sts
In the next st, start DBC & change to color #3 (green)
DBC in last 7 sts
Ch 2; Turn
Row 5 - DBC in next 6 sts
In the next st, start DBC & change to color #1 (red)
DBC in last 8 sts (change to black in last st)
Ch 2; Turn
Row 6 - DBC in next 7 sts
In the next st, start DBC & change to color #3 (green)
DBC in last 7 sts
*with skewer* Ch 1
SC along the side of the flag around skewer
Ch 1; cut (leaving a tail to weave in)
Stars:
Measure out where you would like your stars to be;
Complete each star using a french knot
