You can use Bernat Forever Fleece which is a super chunky, #6, very soft yarn and an M hook. You can probably get away with a K or L hook. This is sold at Joannes. Be certain the label shows a blue blanket thrown over a wooden chair. If you get forever fleece with a baby face you will notice it says the word finer underneath place and that's not what you're looking for for your purposes. That is a lighter-weight fleece yarn and very hard to
