Hi Jennie. I could look at your squares all day and week long. I think they all are unique and so different. And then to make up a patchwork blanket is ingenious. Such neat creativity. Jennie, I love your videos and your channel. I love that you make blankets. I care nothing about crocheting wearables and it's refreshing to find a channel that's not forcing those . I love all the patch work squares, looking at all the colors, you give me lots of inspiration! please don't let the negative peeps keep you from showing us what you make. I can't get enough of your granny square videos! I was getting sad when we I thought we weren't going to see Arlo! Then he appeared! It made me so happy. Your thrift store is great! I have 5 of them near by but either they are over priced and won't budge or they don't have any yarn. I have made sweaters and cardigans and my favorite stitch is the lemon peel stitch or a variation on that stitch using a sc, hdc, sc rather then the sc, dc,sc. Keep up the videos on squares! We can tell you are happy talking about them which makes us happy. I am looking forward to learning your way of putting together the scrap squares. Keep up the good work! I love your channel!

I absolutely love your videos. I can't imagine anybody saying there are too many of them because I could watch them over and over. And over and in fact, I have. I have just recently gotten into making your patchwork squares and I find Myself looking for varigated yarn when I'm out of the store for when I Go to my thrift store Here in town. Granny squares are the best! I am making granny squares ( half double crochet ones) on my school bus between my runs. Easy to take with me and at the end of the school year I will have made enough granny squares for a blanket for my queen size bed. The only difference is I made 21 stitches wide (20 after skipping one chain) and 15 rows! I used some scraps of yarn and I bought some veregated yarn and it is so much fun using vereigated yarn and watching the cool color changes so I don't tire like I do with solid colored yarn. Thanks for the great idea with vereigated yarn. I love the fact that you love blankets too. Blankets and throws are the only thing I crochet. I especially love making queen sized blankets for my bed and for every season :) Some people think I am crazy for crocheting queen size blankets. I absolutely love it. Take care, Laurie

The orchid is so pretty. I wamt to do one of if these blankets too. Its been awhile since i did a big continuous granny or c2,c but never in squares like this. After seeing this orchid I cant make up my mind which stitch i like best. I was thinking i liked c2c better with the variegated, but that Granny is looking cute too. Yep keep doing you. I love looking at yarn & love your videos.

Ive used an I9 on Mandala 3ply yarn. I liked it. The stitches are looser & softer than a tighter stitch eith asmaller hook. My fave hook is J10 on 4ply. Arlo is gorgeous!

Thanks so much for sharing your week with us. It was fun. And I am definitely looking forward to the next video, where you will be putting out all of your squares. I have to say that my favorite of the three squares is the adorable little granny squares. They are so cute, I mean who could resist them!? Tomorrow will be a brand new month, and I have no idea where April went. I’m not quite sure what I got accomplished in April. I did finish a blanket. My problem right now is that I have several project going, and can’t settle down to just one. And I can’t quite decide to do with my new lion brand ombre. They are just so pretty, and so soft. I only got one of each color, but I am definitely going to order more. I want to try out the serenity, the one that has all the beautiful oranges and pink and yellow come, but it is so pretty. I hate to break into it. You know what I mean? I can’t seem to settle down to one project, so I’m not really getting very far with any of them. I think I have told you how much I love making grannies squares, and that is true. But my glaucoma has advanced to the point where I am legally blind. I am finding that getting that first round in is harder than it used to be, especially if the yarn is dark. Sometimes I feel like I can’t even count for. So frustrating , but, I am afraid I am addicted to the granny stitch.h oh well. Like those go on. There’s no stopping time. Lorf for each precious day that I have on the serve. And,Kom every morning for the gift of another day. I try hard to make each day count and knitting have become all the more important to me, because my vision has greatly limited my activity. And, my neural death has gotten to the point where I can no longer participate in a roundtable discussion. Not because people don’t talk loudly enough, but because the nurse that to hear words are just not doing their job. So, I love coming here to share your day, or your week. And I feel that we have a nice community here. It’s a good safe place. I wish we could post pictures on KZbin. Wouldn’t that be fun? We could share our squares, and our blankets, our hats, our sweaters, whatever it is, that we make. Oh well, again. Life still goes on. Blessing to you and those sweet kitties. I love watching them so much. Arlo and bandit have great personalities. Xbox Stop missing them. However, I have decided to get a kitty. I want a female, and I’m going to name her Millie. Then I won’t have to come home to an empty apartment anymore. And I will once again have a companion. I am going to get her a small stroller so we can take walks. my daughter did get me a big store forS-encervand little Rinny.,, he loved that stroller., And Spencer would drive along beside us. Totally happy to be outside. Great memories. Sometime I could swear that I feelFINNY snuggled beside me. I know they are winning at the end of the rainbow bridge for me.❤

Have you tried to crochet a solid granny square? My grandaughter when she first learned to crochet she bought varigated yarns to make granny squares and about 4 - 5 skeins of those squares done and between moves she lost all her squares- she was so upset she has not crocheted since
