for anyone wanting a written pattern :) disclaimer 1: i did not create this pattern! just trying to make it a little easier for beginners/anyone who can’t read a chart yet! disclaimer 2: this doesn’t cover the entire pattern, but i wrote out every single step in each row that i wrote. i stopped after four rows of flowers cause i wanted mine smaller (there are two rows of flowers left), but i promise it’s so easy once you get the hang of it. the pattern is so repetitive, the only part that changes with each set of flowers is how many times you need to repeat each step. none of the numbers change! please don’t be discouraged! disclaimer 3: the rows get longer and longer, so it may get a little difficult to follow (partly why i stopped as well lol) but once you do it more you'll know what to expect. feel free to ask questions in case i messed up anywhere :) Make a Magic ring 0:32 R1: ch5, 3dc, ch2, 1tr, close the ring 2:40 R2: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 3dc (one dc in each dc stitch from R1), 2dc in chain space (5 written in the video is a typo), 1tr in chain space 5:29 R3: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 2dc, ch4, skip 3 stitches, 2dc (in last two dc stitches from R2), 2dc in chain space, 1tr in chain space 7:41 R4: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 1dc, ch5, slip stitch into chain space ch5, skip 3 stitches, 1dc (into last dc of R3), 2dc in chain space, ch2, 1tr into chain space 9:55 R5: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 3dc, 3dc in chain space, ch3, 3dc in chain space, 3dc, 2dc in chain space ch2, 1tr in chain space 12:29 R6: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 8dc, 3dc in chain space, 8dc, 2dc in chain space, ch2, 1tr in chain space 14:24 R7: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 2dc, ch4, skip 3 stitches, 13dc (should have 5 stitches left), ch4, skip 3 stitches, 2dc, 2dc in chain space, ch2, 1tr in chain space 16:59 R8: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 1dc, ch5, slip stitch into chain space, ch5, skip 3 stitches, 7dc (should have 3 stitches left), ch5, slip stitch into chain space, ch5, skip 3 stitches, 1dc, 2dc in chain space, ch2, 1tr in chain space Continuation: R9: ch5, turn, 2dc in chain space, 3dc, 3dc in chain space, ch3, 3dc in chain space, 7dc, 3dc in chain space, ch3, 3dc in chain space, 3dc, 2dc in chain space, ch2, 1tr in chain space. I literally started crocheting two days ago and i can say that i really love this video. At first i wasn’t gonna try cause the comments led me to believe that it was hard to follow but i tried anyways and honestly it was pretty easy to follow ( there was one moment where she didn’t give directions but it wasn’t complicated and the pattern kinda speaks for itself so it was easy to figure out, there was one part where i think she accidentally typed 5 dc instead of 2 but i just followed what she did and i was okay) this video actually really helped me understand patterns as well, or at least basic patterns. Once she did the 8 rows of demonstration it was kinda nice to be left to fend for myself for the rest, looks really complicated but it’s not.

i tried starting four different you tube videos for a hair scarf and would pull out all the yarn and start over! this one was the one i could follow. i can see her hands as she works with the yarn so i follow and match the sides to each other...i made this w bigger yarn and hook AND i'm left handed when crocheting and i could still follow! 😅 granted i got confused a few times and wasn't sure what it was gonna end up as for the first four rows! but with the relaxing music, i pulled out my flaws and kept going...❤

I want to write this pattern for beginners so they can do it too, sadly when I was a beginner I still had a hard time following intermediate-level patterns even if the instructions were written for beginners to follow. I suggest you first learn how to read and interpret crochet charts in order to understand this tutorial.

I'm following this using my pattern-recognition skills as I am good at it and after the first formation of the flowers, I already understood how it's done.
@reiri57643 ай бұрын
In case ur interested on how I figured it out, * You always start with ch5 and end with 2ch + tc in 3rd chain of ch5 foundation. 1. Bottom petal starts with 4dc (that includes the two on chain space). After 4ch, you skip 3dc, and dc on the 4th stitch. After that, you make 13dc and ch4, skip 3st, and dc again until the last row gives you last 2 stitches to dc on plus a chain space for another 2 dc. 2. The twin petals are 3dc (one in chain space and one in a stitch). There should be 3 stitches left, but you skip them then 5 ch. You sl st it inside the 4ch from the former row, and then 5ch again. Then skip the next 3dc stitches and dc on it until there are three stitches left on the next chain space, you ch5 and sl st on ch sp again. Then repeat the pattern. 3. The top petal, you still do 2 dc on the ch sp, then dc on all stitches plus the three chains and then ch 3. The next dc should start from the third chain on the other 5ch and proceed to dc all the stitches until you get to the 5chain spaces again and repeat inserting dc into its 3 chains. 4. Last was the break where you dc all the stitches including the 3ch, and make sure you still add 2dc in each chain space on the two ends.

Hey, crocheter here! Lots of people who make these videos also have an alternate motive. It’s clear the person was also trying to teach how to read patterns. These types of videos make crocheters more confident in their skill rather than relying on a person telling them what to do. Hope this helps!
