I am so thankful that I found your channel years ago when I was first teaching myself how to crochet. Your videos help me so much as you are an amazing teacher and you make crocheting easy and understandable. I have made several blankets and hats as gifts from your library of beautiful patterns and I am always so proud to give a lovely end product. Happy to see you collaborate with your sister as well. Love, love, love your channel.

Very glad this video came up! As a newbie in the crochet world… thank goodness 4 years later, this still popped up 😊 Loved the explanation of the measuring guidelines you used! It was also communicated in a way that makes one feel you are right there with them chatting away 😊

Hi! Your video single handedly taught me how to crochet!!! I'd never held a crochet needle ever in my life before this. I was also able to reach a goal of mine- to crochet a hat for all my loved ones for Christmas. I am currently on hat #7 and I started 3 weeks ago. Thank you!!!!

There are a lot of crochet videos out there, that are very well made, but, this is exactly what I was looking for, the look of the pattern, and your slow thorough explanation. Thank you👌🏽

Actuslly, these hats look great sans pom pom. ❤. I like to make mine long enough to have a nice turned up brim.

hey! thx so much i really wanted to make my dear grandpa a winter hat! but i didnt know how to crochet or knit and then i saw my great grandmother crocheting and i really wanted to ask her to teach me, but she didnt know how to explain it and so i went to yt! i watched many tutorials and i might be ready to make a hat! also i needed a new hobby ;-;

So simple! Thank you. I waited for you to gather the top of the hat after you weaved through the stitches and show the finished project, which may have been good for a beginner. Will your pattern work with other Bulky size 5 yarn? Ty! :)

Thank you for a wonderful video. I just started crocheting and this hat is my first project ever, you made it so easy to follow! I am almost finished with it, but I wanted to ask, when joining the 2 ends together, will there be a difference if I use both front and back post of one side instead of just the back post like in your video?? Thank you again.

How long should the chain measure out to? I’m personally not a huge fan of bulky yarn like this but I still want to give it a try

You can use A "4". I make most of my hats using 4. They work up very nice.

Hi there! You can get the Bernat Roving on the Yarnspirations website.

Or you could get it at hobby lobby or Michael’s I guess xD
@gfitz60012 жыл бұрын
Or - you can crochet from the outside end of the yarn ball or skein. No need to fiddle around to find the inside “guts” of the yarn. 🤣
